Update on my save I’m in fourth 🤷‍♂️I managed bag some money from the board brought a couple of squad fillers and decided go all out attack. It’s worked I’m as likely win 5-4 as lose by the same result. I’m in the league cup final but went out the fa cup in the third round. Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and the shit have tattered me in every game I’ve played them but I’m giving all the others a good match up

Finished 4th in prem signed abemeyang from Arsenal in January with them paying 100k in wages with Campbell he was a revelation and the pair kept scoring or assisting whoever I payed with them. Beat Chelsea on penalties in league cup final had a player sent off in 94th minute conceding penalty to give Chelsea a chance for a 2-1 win and my keeper Baxter signed from Chelsea to replace bursik saved it and the rebound from Gilmore. Went down to 9men because of an injury and ended up with no forwards taking penalties but won as baxter saved three of theirs. Baxter is a massive recommended signing for him for half a mil valued at £30mil now thought losingbirsik would screw me but not missed him at all
Best result beat Newcastle 9-2 with Campbell scoring 7 🤷‍♂️

Been given money to recruit but struggling to add quality without smashing wage structure. Anybody decent wants over £100000 and it destroys my budget. Board still expect me to battle relegation so no excessive demands.
So far signed Diaz from Blackburn, Simons from PSG and a Spanish u21 with a Brazilian u21 as well. Wilmot wants a new contract on 80k a week so that’s a no go but he’s got a 25 mil release clause what keeps getting activated but he won’t leave as he want continental football, so that’s stuck in an endless loop during preseason. Need spend big on a cd and a dm

How do you get the scouts to do specifically what you ask them to do? To explain what I mean lets say I want to find the best talent from some 'lesser' nation, so I'll go onto the profile of the scout I want to send out there, I'll give him a new assignment to go & scout, lets say Mexico. He'll have no other assignments or anything, all previous things cleared, I just want him to go & watch games in Mexico & unearth me some hidden gems. I'll go back a month later to see if he's found me anything & while sometimes he might (Might!) have actually found me some young Mexican kid playing for a Mexican club, but most of the time he just 'finds' me a bunch of players from Real Madrid or Liverpool or something daft. (And they're not Mexican, neither have they been on loan at Mexican clubs or anything, it'll be someone stupid like Salah or Mane or some shit). What's that all about?

I’ve brought in a load of youngsters and Collins back with a 19m option for the champions league I’ve got A Madrid, Ajax and rbLeipzig in the groups. Started well in the league 4 from 4 but that’s Chelsea villa Brighton and Leeds, Chelsea only in the conference in Europe struggling on their third manager already

Get a technical director and a director of football always helps me ask them to look for potential more than what they can do. I don’t get rinse and repeat class players now. Speaking of Mexicans I’ve got a 22 year old who’s just got his work permit after 18 months in Holland on loan. The issue with the foreign players now is the wp not coming through.

Lost to Chelsea in the Europa League semis. I normally do quite well with 10 men I agree especially playing five at the back I can lose anyone and still not panic. Ps tymchyk from Kiev is a cracking tight back or wing back 14 assists in his first season for me cost me 7mil but he pretty much undroppable

Fletcher was a machine for me top scorer in promotion season, Powell had a cracking season as a mezzala but once I moved up to the prem he’s been pretty redundant.

Powell hasn’t done much for me but in his defence I’ve had to play him out of position as Vrancic took up the CAM spot and I signed a much better player in my 2nd season. Used him as in inverted winger at LM and he’s rarely been any good but neither has anyone else there or at LB.

Just finished my 2nd season. Finished 4th in the league so CL here we come. Lost to Bournemouth in the FA Cup semi though! Campbell wants to leave, again, but agreed an asking price with him of £77m as he’s been on fire.

I’ll have a look the right back cheers, got Ryan Fredericks and Edwards at the moment and they’re ok but not good enough if we’re going places.

So after a fifa and halo break I’m back. Finished top of group in champions league with 10 points, everyone was beating each other so up until 10 minutes go in the last match I was in the europa league. Top of the league but Man City have games in hand only lost to them but had five draws with the top teams, can’t see me staying the distance as I have injury crisis and suspensions galore coming up to the Christmas period. Youth paying off though I have a cracking batch at under 18 and my next intake is four and a half stars. Still can’t up wages so stuck as the lowest payers hoping January review changes it

Just moved house to Nantwich. So started a save as Nantwich town on a downloaded custom lower league database.

In first season, currently 10 behind South Shields in 1st and 8 ahead of 3rd.

I’ve beaten Maidstone (league above) in the FA cup then lost to Wrexham

Then beat slough (league above) in the FA trophy and drawn Yeovil.

Actually really enjoying the save and throughly recommend it.

Not doing as well as last year. 9th/3rd/5th/6th/3rd since getting promoted as champions in the first season. Runners up in both cups once and won the Europa Conference in my most recent season but it's a crap competition. Nothing first team level coming through the academy, they were at first but of course my squad has developed quicker than the academy has but all requests to improve youth recruitment have been rejected.

But one thing is really annoying me...every time I propose a stadium expansion, the board accept it (only up to 34,000 odd) but every time the sodding council refuse planning permission. Has anyone else had better luck with it?

I've been playing the mobile version since 2018 and I'm addicted, I downloaded the 2022 version since I started self isolating last Wednesday, the only good thing to come of this is I've taken braintree from sixth tier to the premier league, not slept much in isolation and I dont wanna go back work now until I win the champions league😂😂

England avoid picking players from Stoke. Liam Delap has been in the top 3 scorers for the last three seasons and still hasn’t had a call up. The better N.Collins centre half, Nnamdi, gets picked all the time for Germany, Brenner for Brazil. That said my back up left back, Brandon Williams, manager to win one cap. Have you tried stadium expansion yet?

Nope on the day they should have broke ground council refused 🤷‍♂️I’d just won the league at home against the shit and then that was breaking news. Lost to the bindipers in the quarterfinals of the champions league but won the league from Chelsea by 4 points beating Man Utd in the penultimate game stopped them from catching me as well. Had Sheffield Utd at home as last game of the season they were 20th and already relegated, so we all know if I had lost to Man Utd then they would beat me with their only shot on target in the 97th minute with somebody’s first goal of the season probably a player I had released or sold. Ben bereton despite being top goal scorer in the league for me has requested a transfer as I’m not playing him as a pressing forward 🤷‍♂️so he’s not happy. I’ve asked a relegated burley how much they want for Collins they’ve told me £60 million I’ve told them fuck off. Rodrygo after a slow start is a super sub now worth 70mil who may leave in the summer so I can free up wages and cash. Applied for the England job was rejected and they hired somebody who last won a trophy in the 90’s with feyenoord, the boards then threatened sack me as I’m not loyal despite me saying I could do both jobs. Big pre season now need to fill the gaps loans going back will create and unhappy players leaving. Sold edwards for 7million so happy with that need new contracts for tyrese and Wilmot remove their minimum fee release clauses.

Bits of your career sound quite similar to mine, just that I’ve been able to spend a lot more time on the game! I sold Campbell for £40m to Spurs and he’s not done a lot there. Wilmot has just left for £5m but after 160 league games. I’ve lost more semis than a nervous teenager but did finally win the FA Cup.

I finally got a stadium expansion but only when the board made the decision themselves without me requesting it. 41,000 now.
