Top work by the management team đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź Respect to everyone involved.
Another day of pure oatcake theatre with Bayern taking centre stage but not reading the script correctly as always.
Looks like two great results today. Looking forward to two or three more in July.

We are and we were. We have done. Like it should have always happened. Despite us only doing the basics am sure you'll agree is great news that yet another youngster has pledged his future to the club. 👍 They must be doing something right I have said it’s great news. I presume they’ve offered him plenty of first team football and a good wage. Which was my argument last night. This should have always been the outcome.

I'm so made up. This is a massive boost for the club. No hyperbole meant but this in my view is the most exciting prospect Stoke have ever had on their books as a teenager bar one.
I'm starting to look forward to the season finally.

Great work by our club management. Is it now time to trust them rather than stick the boot in? Some earlier comments are borderline ridiculous.

His family or THE family. His own family want to keep his feet firmly planted. What I've heard and read he was never close of leaving. There hasn't been any U-turn either. Please stop writing false news about Stoke and it's personnel. Well done Stoke!

Going to Leeds? He follows this account on Instagram and it’s liked by Nathan Lowe another u16 striker. Could well be a load of crap. This could be the beginning of a breakthrough season for him (league cup, FA cup and more games at the end of the season). It’s very unlikely that he’ll get that at Leeds. Yes wonder where all the sh*t started. Good news now lets hope our development program is in place with different options in case including a possible loan in Jan 23 to a an EFL club.

As predicted But I did 🤣 That’s why not doing would have been so bad and the repercussions for that so severe. There should have been no one offering a better package than us. You really are the worst loser. No grace at all.

Tezgel could have left Stoke any time he'd wanted and he has had undoubtedly several unofficial offers from another clubs during his time here.
It's obvious he and his parents has decided to stay here long ago. Why else would they leave it so late if they'd have been looking a chance to join some other and bigger club?
It has always been Stoke for them.

I do like your info generally on the youth level but you must see the difference between youth/U21/23 level and real EFL match level. We all want our players to succeed and have a career but the real world sometimes you need a lucky break and step up. Further different players reach their max level which sadly is not league level though top at their age levels, i do hope Tezgel makes it the top and on the way helps Stoke and himself by both being succcessful.

It was all hypothetical. That’s why it was used a lot! The definition because people clearly don’t know what it means. if /ɪf/ conjunction 1. Of course you need a lucky break. But then you also have talents that you must fast track. That was/is our way of keeping them. It’s why I don’t think this ever should have been a contest. Tezgel will now hopefully be making plenty of cameos soon. He may never fulfil the potential but I was impressed with his game time so far in the first time. And I like he’s not a flat track bully. He’s not bigger and stronger than his contemporaries but when he played against blokes he competed. Greenidge was a player in recentish times that many seemed to like but I never did because he had such a physical advantage over his peers and that makes it even harder to judge. Sankoh had that too but he looked a class above football wise. Massive shame he did his knee though. He was just about to break into the Stuttgart reckoning.

He doesn't rely upon being faster or stronger than his age group and those above him. So he's standing out because he's light years ahead mentally. When he gets stronger and faster in line with becoming a man you can only see him standing out against men, so long as he stays grounded.

You can’t teach speed either but hopefully it will develop and he will develop to get into the pockets of space to score more. Reminds me a bit of Teddy Sheringham.

Hopefully he will develop as time is on his side it may not be popular but i see a younger Maja in his game.

His first touch in difficult areas, often with his back to goal somehow he gets on the half turn. He's also brilliant at losing his defender by getting on his blind side. Belies his age, I've never seen a 16 year old who found it so easy naturally to get in the right place. The next two years are massive for him. I hope he stays injury free and gets game time around our squad. There is absolutely no reason he shouldn't be playing all our Cup games and coming on for Campbell over the hour mark.

Yup we have to be giving him cameos. None of the usual slowly slowly shite we normally do. We have to make sure we do this right. One person yesterday was talking about loans and stuff. Do that and his time will be up and he will be off. There’s more than one way to skin a cat.
