Were you moaning when we were winning one nil? I got the same feeling I got when we scored v Croatia in 2018 semi. A modified mental aware we had a long 80 odd minutes ahead. "Have England scored too early Andy?" "Possibly Clive, possibly" "Thanks Andy"

I cant imagine this country will be invited to host a major football tournament for a good while. I find the Police's initial statement that there were more police on duty than at any other game in the tournament truly bizarre. They refused to say how many btw. Well, yes!....surely that would be expected anyway especially as there were hardly any fans allowed to attend most of the other games and this was the biggest game of the tournament which involved England! I’ve seen more police at a Stoke game mate

At half time I thought we were going to do it,we were making Italy look like an international version of Tony Mowbray's West Brom side: Myriad passes back and across the pitch but all in front of our midfield and backline with little penetration...It's what made the events of the second half so gutting. Only the odd foray from Chiesa gave any hint of attacking incisiveness or suggestion of the momentum Italy were ultimately to go on and build up.

Bellingham is an all-action box-to-box midfielder isn’t he? He’s a number 8. Is he? I must admit that I haven't seen much of him since his debut against us as a tricky left winger. Has certainly played in central midfield for Dortmund and during his few appearances for England to date.

I was wondering how many people had seen Jadon Sanchos comments about the aftermath of the Final, I thought he came across as wonderfully grounded and level headed, one thing I noticed is in his tweet he obviously acknowledged the racist abuse him and the others suffered after the match and that things need to change, he then went on to say that the Love and support he had received massively out numbered the the vile comments, What I found interesting is they later covered this on BBC news and read his comments word for word only the omitted that part, my question is why, he himself wanted to be clear that these idiots are in the minority yet media seems to want to create as much divide as possible

This certainly seems to be the case, but what is the end game in all this, the media seems to want all Black people to grow up thinking that all white people hate them, the media could do so much to bring people together to highlight the fact these people are in a minority and together we need to make an example of them, instead they seem hell bent on an us and them society, race relations has been set back decades in the last 12 months

I’ve often wondered why they do it but far from bringing people together it’s almost like they want civil war. I too am mystified as to why. Interesting that since the racism story broke we’ve not been told - the nature of what was posted. Racist abuse isn’t calling someone something because they missed a pen (thought it’s wrong). Beckham received some awful abuse when he was sent off v Argentina. - where the posters were from (there are suggestions there’s only 5 from the U.K. and the others were overseas) - who they are (this clearly can’t be identified as to they’ve been charged). Of course it’s awful what’s happened to the 3 lads but we need more context and facts not just that racism is a huge problem in the U.K. When the media don’t paint a fair picture about something and try to hide things people will give an opinion based on what they think they should be saying and not on what they actually think even though there general belief is still the same. There’s a huge difference between a handful of racist idiots being brave behind a keyboard and the impression that the papers would like us to believe that these characters are in there 1000s.

The only real way to get rid of these characters is to hammer them with heavy sentences and ensure there details are put everywhere. Education unless it’s to the very young will never change a persons beliefs or hatred if it’s too deeply entrenched so the only way is to get rid of the abuse is by fear. If they think they’re going to get a prison sentence they won’t do it.

If anything the penalties were over practiced.. Smart arse pogba rubbish coming on cold. Was just wierd It was all very odd. Were penalty takers selected to get the headline 'Boo the knee racists defeated'? I'm not saying this is what happened. Merely posing the possibility. Echoes of an ill Ronaldo being forced to play for Brazil in the world cup final for sponsorship reasons. Therefore, in a sense, it was out of Southgate's hands. Who knows what machinations go on behind the scenes when money and agendas come into play. I'm just saying it was odd choices, odd circumstances, and odd how it unfolded. Nothing against the lads, but no-one can say we that was our best five choices for that situation. I find it odd how it is unfolding now to be honest. Very very strange.

Sorry to steer the conversation back to football…
Can we just see through the post match fog and look at a couple of positives?
1. Harry Maguire’s penno. A colossal force of sheer power.
2. Jordan Pickford. Two goals in 7 matches. That penno save v Jorginiho the shite was highly, highly extraordinary because he HAD TO SAVE IT. Against one of the best penno takers in the world, knowing failure was defeat and NOT AN OPTION, was arguably the greatest penalty save of an English goalkeeper in history. It was immense. IMHO Jord is immune from Whatever clowning he does from now on.

I've said it before but I'll repeat myself. Facebook or Twitter are publishing these racist remarks and should be legally responsible for what they publish. It's very easy for them to block an account using the phone number to identify it. If racists had to change phone number every time they posted a comment that was unacceptable as well as facing the rigours of the law it would soon begin to lessen greatly. Having said that, surely it is not racist to state that 2 white players scored and 3 black players missed. Let's say 2 right footed players had scored and 3 left footed players had missed. Surely one should be allowed to mention it. Being right or left footed is just as natural and unselected as one's skin colour. I see one gentleman has had to resign from his 100K plus job for Tweeting "Black Dives Matter" in response to Sterling's action in the Denmark game. I would love to hear people's opinions on the justice of this.

Yes, the person who resigned from his job is Bernard O'Byrne, CEO of the National Basketball Federation, and former CEO of the Football Association of IRELAND!!! He loses his job, in a different country, for an admittedly ill-judged, poorly conceived "joke", yet a proven liar and bully, Priti Patel, can keep her cabinet post after labelling all who "take the knee" as partaking in "gesture politics". GESTURE POLITICS???? How about "let's clap for the nurses, and then give them an extra fucking quid a week to shut them up". You tell me which of the above truly is "gesture politics"?

I see nothing wrong with mocking the BLM. It is no different to mocking any political movement. Neither is it wrong to mock Sterling (or anyone else) for diving.

I also think that banning someone for life for racist comments is also way over the top. You can rehabilitate (if that is the right word) most people with a 1 yr ban. I am not in favour of life bans for most actions associated with sporting events. It just seems too absolute and offers no one an incentive to change their behaviour. It is very similar to the excessively long sentencing that you sometimes see in the US court system.

People have been taking the knee at Rashford’s mural because someone drew a cock on his head 😂😂😂 That’s it. We need tactical nuking. Engineered outrage and division for an agenda. Which includes digital ID. Social media is a tool to influence opinion with its click-farm accounts. I guess they will be allowed to bypass the ID, because without them globalists would lose a massive propaganda machine.

It's not racist to state that 2 white players scored and 3 black players missed, but pretty much the only thing you can take from someone saying that is that black people are worse at taking penalties than white people, which is stereotyping, and stereotyping based on race is essentially racist. Left/right footed is different in my opinion as people aren't treated differently based on which they are. (Hundreds of years ago though I suspect left footed people may have been accused of being witches...) To me "Black dives matter" is just a shit (and badly timed) pun but others may disagree. Would be interested to know!
