Be interesting to see how Ferguson gets on there. Has done reasonably well in very short stints at Everton and seems to be a character that could take to management.
Tricky gig though at Blackburn.

What he's done at Everton he deserves a chance somewhere. Think their is a good manager in their but its just nice to see an new name get a chance.

Should have joined Ancelotti at Madrid when he had the fhance Just depends whether he wants to be a manager or live in Spain. That Clements bloke has been there for years but it didn’t help him as a manager in England.

Gerrard's assistant to QPR Could be a very shrewd move by them was the brains behind Gerrard at Rangers and Villa. Question is will Gerrard be the same as a manager?

Probably worked with him at Liverpool, so sticking with what he knows as with Beale? I read that Beale was on £600k as Gerrard's assistant - so probably a big pay rise from his Blackpool contract if they pay him that

Still, slight Quitters to Sunderland vibes - even though that Villa No.2 job is on a different stratosphere of attractiveness
Must be gutting for Blackpool fans.
Makes you wonder if it's all worthwhile when a No.2 job can pay more and be considered more attractive. Very galling. Gerrard seems to be acknowledging he needs a very good, hands-on coach that he trusts alongside him

Who knows but not a move I'd make.

Villa have made some good moves in the transfer window and look like they’re going places.
Add a pay rise into the mix and it’s a good project to get involved with.

Any chance he just prefers being a coach and doesn’t really enjoy the additional responsibility of being a manager. Not everyone is desperate to climb the greasy pole and some get so far up and decide it’s not for them. It’s certainly something I’ve seen in my former occupation and that involved a reduction in pay not an increase.

Last 2 posts, spot on. (But I'm not the official scorer)
Edit: Was just thinking the same thing about Aston Villa as I saw the post.

Unfortunately not quick enough at stoke with the manager. Mind you, there’s a few players that need move on still as well. We all live in hope!!

If I was Blackpool I'd take a chance on Ian Evatt. Ex player, 'knows the club' and had good success there under Holloway.
Done a very good job at Barrow and Bolton.
