Under reaction? We didn't play good tonight and got a point. We were second best all over the pitch we just got lucky they didn’t take their chances and we scored a fluke goal On another day we lose that 3-0 The over reaction is not referring to the game yesterday, mainly, it's referring to the overall analysis by some of how our season is going and the opinion of MON. He's done a magnificent job since he's come in. Saved us from potential long term stay in Lower Leagues, stabilised us and has the team around the play off. All in matter of just over a year. Having a seriously bad transfer window for a club can take three windows to put right. We had a number of bad transfer windows in a row which made a huge impact. MoN will be on his third window in a few days. I personally believe by the end of 4th window (start of next season) the club will be in a great position, excluding FFP restrictions. |

Might argue MON’s first choice team would be:
Davies
Collins Shawcross Souttar Fox
Allen Mikel Clucas
Campbell Fletcher Powell/McClean
Of these 12, 7 didn’t start last night and Allen was way off full fitness. After Bournemouth, he must be hoping that he will have everyone except Campbell (and maybe Fox) available for the next league game on the 16th January. He appears to be doing what he can to stay in touch in the hope of adding one or two front players and maybe a left back to help us push on. And he has done this while giving experience to Bursik, Collins, Souttar, Tymon, Thompson, TOB, Brown and Campbell. In the circumstances, especially financial and with injuries, it’s not clear he could do much better

why not give the young lad Varlan from the u23s a shot instead of Vokes,don't think he would have done any worse or at least have him as a sub and then give him 15 mins at the end.Lets see how he would do, we not exactly overwhelmed with strikers are we?.

Vokes is costing Stoke pts. Miss pens, heading the ball back to their keeper, the more he plays the more pts we will drop.
