If anyone follows Jonnypotter on Twitter (he’s a coach for Slavia Prague academy)
He really rates this young striker/winger called Abdallah Sima
9 in 10 this season for Slavia Prague and given West Ham’s two purchases from Prague are doing well I would love to see us take a gamble on him.

Senegalese, playing in weak league... It's going to be an additional headache now trying to check if EU players qualify.

We don’t stand a chance. A lot of people are talking about him. He’d cost more than the pittance we can afford too.

I think we might try to offload Ince, he seems to have given him a chance, but failed to impress and seems to have again been down the pecking order?. High earner which would give us wriggle room.

Didn’t realise he had quite the following I do feel like we are missing a trick limiting ourselves to the domestic market though

I think we’ll find it nigh on impossible to get someone decent in who will make a real positive difference to us.

The bits I have seen Anthony Gordon at Everton looks like he will be a good player, seems around about their squad at the moment with their injuries.

I think we’ll find it nigh on impossible to get someone decent in who will make a real positive difference to us. True. But any option that isn't called Samuel Vokes has got to ease the strain a bit. Wonder if we've got a preference for a right-sider or another central option. Ideally presumably someone who could play in both areas -but someone who could add something in either position, as an alternative to Brown, would give us options. We've got Ince and Brown who can play on the right, but Brown certainly doesn't bring goals (and neither does this incarnation of Ince) Delap is obvious and while he isn't getting on the bench at Man City, he's always going to be linked.Whether Rory would be comfy with him here, who knows? He wouldn't start every game (and whether that'd be a problem for Man City?) But he seems a very confident, physically ready option And Vydra would certainly add something to the squad and must be a possibility if he consistently doesn't make the bench (although he appears to have a back injury at the moment) Beyond that, I'm struggling. Diangana made a hell of a difference to WBA last season, but doubt loan-available youngsters like him grow on trees

Obafemi a real good call. Bit raw but a good player. Have a word Collins and McClean

According to Mark Robbins, our bench was "frightening" on Sat, so surely we have enough in the tank ????

Every option has pros and cons but we can’t really afford another poor window. Every decision this time has to be bang on, there’s too much at stake. League 1 or perhaps MON can use his knowledge of the foreign market and find us a gem he spotted as the NI manager? Can’t see any championship clubs wanting to deal with each other and premier league players come at premium prices that we almost certainly can’t afford. On top of that, we almost certainly can’t do anything until the “unmovables” are somehow moved on to free up some cash.

I've been impressed so far with MON's transfer business. I would trust his judgement & transfer team to get the best available within our means.

Obafemi the best bet I think. Can play wide or down the middle. We’ve done business with Saints recently too. I thought he may have pushed on by now but can understand why he’s not getting picked.

No it’s not. It’s a double groin injury. A ‘Trauma’ injury whatever that actually means. I always thought a trauma injury was one caused by a sudden impact such as a car accident or heavy fall from height. If it really is a trauma injury it just shows how bad the foul on him was and what a joke it was that the referee gave it the other way.

Ironic if it proves a problem to the Brexit capital`s top team Just looking at the new rules, and with EU players all swept away from our grasp, it's pretty hard to come up with anyone we could afford who'd get the 15 points to qualify for one

Thought we would see some incoming links soon. I would imagine we would look to get top end signings in as early as possible?.

Thought we would see some incoming links soon. I would imagine we would look to get top end signings in as early as possible?. It isn’t always that simple though. Sometimes players don’t become available until later on in the window, and January is generally much less busy than the summer window.

Thought we would see some incoming links soon. I would imagine we would look to get top end signings in as early as possible?. It’s not as straightforward as that. Players have to leave first to free up finance. Premier league loans (if that’s what we are after) won’t be authorised by the loaning club until the end of the window.
