Any suggestions if its worse case scenario? Obviously from outside the club. A premier League loan with someone who can play wide or central and also create.
Eddie Nkiteah (Arsenal) Daniel James (Man Utd) Ben Woodburn (Liverpool)

Nketiah and James are pie in the sky, if either were to leave their clubs it would be for another Premier league club.
Woodburn is at Blackpool isn’t he?
Yannick Bolasie is almost certain to move to the Championship in January but I think Middlesbrough are favourites for him. He would certainly add a different dimension to our side.

Liam Delap has also been mentioned but I’m not sure he’s that type of striker. He’s a typical young No9 isn’t he? A younger version of Fletcher Gregory and Vokes so I’m not sure he would fit the Bill at this moment in time.

Bolassie's game was built on pace - didn't he have a very major injury about 2 years ago and has possibly lost that pace so been on constant loan out to run his contract down - also he's. never been a regular goal scorer - whoever we get needs to have at least had some history of being a prolific striker

Wonder if Jacob Murphy from Newcastle is available on loan again, similar wide forward type. Spent last season at Sheffield Wednesday

If he’s out for the season, we may never see him play for us again, although he’d have to prove his fitness before anyone buys him.

Going to be a struggle I think, particularly with FFP considerations. With Delap, Man City don’t seem to like loaning out young players and Jacob Murphy and Nketiah have been playing a bit for both their clubs so not sure they’ll be loaned out.
Wouldn’t be opposed to a punt on Daniel Sturridge if he’s still a free agent but not sure what his fitness level will be like.

Put in an absolute peach of a cross for their winner yday. Jordan Jones at Rangers will be available in Jan on loan I reckon. Not a goalscorer or as tricky as Ty but absolute rapid out wide direct at players and gets crosses in. Delap would be a good loan option rotating with Fletcher as a number 9 but depends if he would want to come where his dad is and worse with FFP may have rely on us fucking Vokes off. Tom Doyle seemed be highly rated in Man City set up, what sort of attacker is he? Worth a loan punt?

Mallic Wilkes from Hull. We scouted him in the summer, Hulls best player and as ever they need cash?

I'd be going all out for either Dwight Gayle or Liam Delap on loan, or even sign Gayle permanently if we can, I think he's out of contract in the summer so it's their last chance of getting a fee for him unless of course he signs a new deal.

Verlinden needs to come into the side and we need to decide what we are doing with Ince before we get a Campbell replacement into the side.

Not wide players - but would Gelhardt or Greenwood at Leeds make a mark at this level? Or Barry at Villa?
Hard to know when promising players like that are really ready to physically compete
Ideally there'd be a Diangana lurking in some u21 team somewhere - but can't imagine there's many of that calibre available for loan in January.

What about the lad Martin Boyle from Hibernian. Wasn't there talk of Stoke City looking into him in the summer, can play out wide our in a more central forward role.
Not sure if he would be feasible or not though with FFP etc.. as presume there would be a transfer fee involved.

His missus plays in Edinburgh as well and they both seem to have prioritised happiness and staying together there over taking a pay day, very strange I know but he's not going anywhere

Delap would obviously be perfect. Physically he seems up to it already. Just would come down to how comfortable he and Rory are with it.
He looks like he'd potentially be equipped to play wide on occasion too?

But MON doesn't exactly seem convinced, does he?
