From looking like getting a 2-0 lead against all odds with a tired and battered band of brothers, we went to being an absolute shambles. They had nothing till that penalty miss and the result was never in doubt once we missed it. I don't blame the players (except Vokes for missing a pen) as they've run their legs off, but O'Neill should have tried to replace the energy of Brown and Campbell and he brought on Vokes and Shawcross.

Nothing wrong with how we had played while we had Campbell on and Brown as an outlet too. Losing both shot us in the bollocks and the penalty miss topped it off. Followed on by a poor decision to bring on Ryan at 1-1, it’s not difficult not to see why this has happened. I think we need to dial down the Vokes abuse though. I'm pretty sure 30k per week will soften the blow. Almost nothing said about his contribution in a Stoke shirt, both tonight and pretty much ever since his debut, would be anywhere near harsh enough. He is as big a steaming pile of shit as has ever played for our club. He is beyond useless. There are no words really to describe just how wank he is. Dave, I don’t like him as a player and wish he wasn’t with us but there are other factors that have affected tonight’s result. Both goals were poor, MON’s decision to bring on Ryan was bonkers and losing Ty and Brown killed us too. I just don’t agree with all the invective against one man as if he is the only reason we lost. |

It’s gone proper tits up tonight. Shite performance second half with two more injuries and a suspension for good measure. This teams no where near good enough to go up this year.

Vokes showing his welsh colours by not playing again his countrymen. He is equally bad whoever he is playing against, his legs are gone, a few years ago he might’ve been useful but it’s like playing with 10 men when he is on the pitch, offers nothing. |

That lot were atrocious and its yet another missed opportunity,yes we've a big squad but when key players ie Tyrese,Souttar,Fletcher and Baart are missing, we are very, very ordinary.

Very scrappy and hugely disappointing. We lost hope after Tyrese went off and Vokes missed the penalty. We really need a striker in January who can hold the ball up and link the play. Far too much Hoofball.

How did we lose that game. Cardiff were so limited it was untrue and we've fallen to sucker goals. Absolutely woeful performance. Bad beyond words. Chester looked vulnerable all night, as in fact did Collins. Simple, we allowed Vokes to take the penalty. Had he scored Cardiff heads would have gone down and we cruised home. Instead it gave them a boost and the rest is history. What has Vokes actually done since we signed him? He disappeared for the remainder of the game, apparently Ince came on at some stage and did his invisible man again. |

Why was he even on the pitch though ?
The last person we needed to replace Campbell and Shawcross for Brown was beyond bizarre.
Plenty of credit in the bank for MON but he had an absolute mare once Ty got injured.
