I'm pretty sure 30k per week will soften the blow. Almost nothing said about his contribution in a Stoke shirt, both tonight and pretty much ever since his debut, would be anywhere near harsh enough. He is as big a steaming pile of shit as has ever played for our club. He is beyond useless. There are no words really to describe just how wank he is. Didn't he get the winner against Sheffield last season Indeed he did. Got the winner at Villa as well. Not bad for 9m eh? |

Nothing wrong with how we had played while we had Campbell on and Brown as an outlet too. Losing both shot us in the bollocks and the penalty miss topped it off. Followed on by a poor decision to bring on Ryan at 1-1, it’s not difficult not to see why this has happened. I think we need to dial down the Vokes abuse though. There was no need to bring Vokes on Ty was playing wide he gets swapped with Verlinden. Powell takes the penno and we are home and hosed.

Can’t find fault with his effort because he’s put a shift in tonight but there were two key moments in this match that turned it. First Powell not stepping up to take the penalty. He’s the best player on there and should take the responsibility. Vokes is out of form and had been on 4 minutes. Second Powell was so weak for the 2nd goal. It was his man, had been all game and he was easily brushed aside. On the floor when the goal went in and that’s why Morrison appeared to be on his own

Poor penalty from Vokes
2 occasions of poor defending
Full credit to MON, he's making the most out of a squad that would have got relegated before he signed. This squad is decimated with injuries to really key central players that is forcing him to chop and change the way we play football.

How did we lose that game. Cardiff were so limited it was untrue and we've fallen to sucker goals. Absolutely woeful performance. Bad beyond words. Chester looked vulnerable all night, as in fact did Collins.

Vokes missed his penalty get over it, we where still winning, shit defending cost us this game. Correct. But Campbells injury followed by Vokes missed penalty changed the momentum of the match, and is just as responsible for the loss? Can’t understand why Vokes was allowed to take it. He is a jinx. |
