I’m just saying his form has fallen off a cliff ever since. There are two ways of looking at it. A- He’s been distracted by other things and isn’t concentrating on football B- His club team is shite and his national team is shite. Either way he’s been shite. |

Reminds me a bit of Nathan Jones. Got all these overrated, overpaid footballers managed by a bloke who’s done nowt of note in the game. Saying that we were as bad under Capello etc tbf he did get us to the world cup semis |

Everyone says that we have outstanding attacking talent.
Southgate’s response to that is to pick a midfield pairing that struggles to pass water.
We have played 4 games and scored 3 goals two of which have been penalties.
That statistic alone should tell you that Southgate is extremely limited as a manager who will not have enough tactical nous to win anything.

This formation and style of play is garbage, you can tell the players hate it. The only thing I’ll accept is he’s hamstrung by availability but he still would have played the same style. We’ve got world class forwards, we should be playing on the front foot and negating the need for world class defenders. |

We didn't deserve to lose that on balance of play, the ref was out of his mind, however based on Southgates team selection we fully deserve to lose. We have in form exciting players yet we're starting with Maguire who everyone can see isn't right, Rashford who just passes backwards and a defensive formation at home to Denmark! Infuriating when we have such an exciting squad!
