Crap ref, but both Maguire and Walker were guilty of really terrible challenges which allowed him to make those poor decisions. As other may have said above, the back three does the same for England as it does for Stoke, in negating the effect of the attacking talent at our disposal. A midfield four of two full backs and two holding midfielders can only serve to limit a team's creativity. Probably played better with a back 4 and 10 men. |
