Just seemed strange so I thought I'd mention it. It's not as if you have been blocked or anything.

OK. A crisis has been narrowly diverted. I have done a diagnostics type thingy and your partial posts had an image attached that wouldn't download. Working on it.

lets face it football fans are seen the scourge of the country the continued lockout is causing more annoyance and the impending carnage that will ensue when we can start going again will be something to behold, they really need to be considering letting fans in come January, 12 months nearly since we last went and im crawling the walls!

I thought that the only way Port Vale can get 4000 people in that stadium is to round them up and cuff them to the seats?

I'll be buying a membership for Warwickshire CCC and heading over to Edgbaston next spring/summer.
I'm counting down the minutes until I can sit in the sun with a beer watching the Bears.

I live about 15 mins away from Old Trafford. I must admit, This summer I was desperate to watch some cricket to distract me from all the goings on. I really hope things start to change in the spring, as watching county cricket is probably one of the safest sports to watch. Can't beat a day in the sun with a few beers 😎

I'll be buying my membership on payday anyway. They had a trial game at Edgbaston around August time that went well, then for some reason no more was said about it.

Hopefully common sense prevails Limited numbers should be allowed The debate should be how many and who gets in. 10% capacity would seem workable?

Stoke won’t be able to do it with the area being in the high risk

Great news potentially, maximum of 4,000 fans to be allowed back.
I assume this will be in areas that aren't in Tier 3 (or even Tier 2) but details no doubt to follow......

This is great news. Especially for Leagues 1 & 2 who for some 4k is a very substantial crowd. Will also make the games much more watchable on TV.
This is a good start, and hopefully can be built on as the case rates decrease further.

It would be odd to allow 4,000 into Old Trafford and the same in Barrow's stadium with a capacity just under 5,000 for example......

You do wonder how many areas will be in the lowest tier any time soon though.
We won't be for quite some time, you'd think?

I believe that if this is for tier 1s only, it could incentivise fans in tiers 2 and 3 (fans of all outdoor events and not just nogger) to ‘stop the spread’ so they can get back to the footy. Well, one would hope!

If we aren’t allowed home fans but other clubs in the division are, could this be a disadvantage for us?
I’m assuming it will be home fans only.
Or do we think it’s too small a number to really make a difference?

We'll be nailed on Tier 3 because of the non-nonsensical, retarded, braindead morons mass-testing this city using the most flawed testing method going. Utter clowns. Knowing this only makes it worse.

I guess the other consideration will be where you live. For example if Manchester is Tier 3 (or even 2) and Stoke Tier 1 then I guess I wouldn't be able to go to the game., but if both are Tier 1 (0r 2 possibly) then I'll be fine. Hard to police I guess and reliant on people's honesty.....

Or do we think it’s too small a number to really make a difference? Suppose 4000 may make a small difference - but can't see many areas being in Tier 1 any time particularly soon. Tier 2 and 2000 seems unlikely to make any difference in terms of generating any atmosphere - but even that seems a long way off for us!

Doesn't seem a very fair system sporting wise.
