Is the fee not simply divided by the length of contract for FFP purposes?

It's looking promising.
Lindsay, Wimmer, Badou off the books, probable get a fee for Lindsay.
Bruno, probably get a fee for him too.
Hopefully we can take a small fee for Etebo if we've written down his value because of covid.
I also think Allen and Clucas will leave.
So it should free up a few million?
If we can just find a striker and a proper athletic central midfielder we'll have a much better season

Will be interesting to see what fee he goes for .
Despite an annoying habit of attempting passes Steven Gerrard or Zidane would have considered ambitious , he is still big and brave and a far better centre half than Kevin wimmer .
You would have to assume Wimmer is worth less .

They can have him for free, but they have to take Vokes.

I think he’d have done very well alongside Shawcross. He doesn’t have the ability to spot danger early enough at this level (in my opinion) and loses concentration too often. He’d have done a better job if he had someone talking him through a match.

I moan like a drain at times about Clucas but would like to see him stay if he can continually put in the performance and effort he showed in the game at Bournemouth.

He can certainly score goals but can anyone say that in three years here he's ever taken a game by the scruff of the neck and dominated midfield - as, say, John Eustace did?

Is the fee not simply divided by the length of contract for FFP purposes? Using the calculator sold by the club shop, that says 35M, sounds about right.

www.lep.co.uk/sport/football/preston-north-end/trio-of-deals-edge-closer-for-preston-north-end-3256096The signs are promising that they will have three of last season’s loan players back at Deepdale before the new season kicks off on August 7. New loan deals for Daniel Iversen and Sepp van den Berg are edging closer, while a longer-term move for Liam Lindsay is a strong possibility. North End hope to get deals in place or well down the line in readiness for turning their attention to recruiting in attacking areas. A deal for Lindsay should go through and North End could well land him in a permanent switch. The Scottish central defender grew in confidence and performance level as his loan from Stoke progressed. Lindsay being left-footed is an attraction for Preston as they seek balance at the back.

Sepp van den Berg, Daniel Iversen and Liam Lindsay are all wanted back for 2021/22.
Deals for all three are getting close and one, if not two, could get completed in the days ahead. North End hope to strike an agreement with Stoke to sign Lindsay, with that likely to be a permanent move.
Talks have been held with the Potters and the player is keen on the move.

Undisclosed fee... We must’ve been too embarrassed to disclose how little we got for him. Another cock up from the team.

I’m not disappointed with this but I just get the feeling he’ll have an absolute stormer against us next season and will probably score as well.

Unpopular opinion but I think he's actually a better centre half than Chester and would have been a better option for us. We still don't have anyone to play the left side. Only option we have is if we play 3 at back with fox on left

I thought he was decent, had a mistake in him but was clearly improving with games, fair play for getting some cash in for him too.

One of those players who, in about 15 years, I’ll have absolutely no recollection of him ever playing for us.

Good luck to him, Hoping we got FFP for him. Didnt think he was that bad just needed an organiser along him at the time and Batth and Chester were never that when he played.

Know its just part of negotiations but dislike this "undisclosed fee" stuff. Can't tell if we made much headway re FFP. (And I'm curious to see what we got) At least it's wages off the books

Scared the living daylights out of me anytime the ball was moving towards him. As for his passing, well? Best move for both sides.
