There’s aspiration and there’s reality. So much is riding on Campbell but I expect us to finish mid table

Play off at least if we get a decent striker in! That’s the key mate as MON is already making noises about our limitations on recruitment I can’t see us bringing in the quality we will need to make a serious promotion push. I’m guessing other than a couple of loans we’ll be going pretty much with what we already have

Our ability to keep clean sheets is the often overlooked starting point. The rest will have to hopefully develop slowly but surely but at least it means we shouldn’t be dragged into a relegation fight. I’m actually quite fearful that the return of spectators might lead to undue panic if ‘entertainment’ isn’t at the desired level.

Absolutely, having us all back in the stands is going to have either a very positive or a very negative effect, and I have absolutely no idea which one it will be!

We should be the laughing stock of the entire football world. Considering how much we have spent since relegation and to still be as poor as we are is quite amazing. The ONLY thing I will give Scholes credit for is how he has managed to contain the football media from highlighting how badly run Stoke has been for a considerable time. They don't know what they are doing.

My heart says push for top 6, my head says another season of sustainability with more end progression being shown that we could look to go somewhere if carry on such as the 2006/ 2007 season.
