There's some quite interesting narrative challenges facing Keith and the gang in the next couple of weeks until the Council elections. They are desperate to get it out there that massive gains are unlikely because they actually did v. well in these same seats four years ago but that will draw attention to who the leader of the Labour Party was during those elections Was it the bloke who a year later lead them to one of the most humiliating, catostrophic defeats in modern history?

Yeah that's him, after getting the 3rd largest share of the vote of any Labour Leader since 1970 just two years earlier. Shouldn't have allowed himself to be railroaded into Brexit nonsense buy some pillock, what was his name now, Kei? Keir, Keith or summat! Still imagine how people who voted for Johnson feel now? Scrubbing the blood off their hands I should think

What a surprise the massive hypocritical cunt Let’s show some common sense here, he broke the rule and apologised I’m sure he wouldn’t do it again. My instinct is to show some leniency.

Like with Boris? Whether it’s Boris for breaching after the govt guidelines or Starmer for asking Johnson to resign it’s hypocrisy at every turn. You’re right though we need to move on as it’s getting daft. There’ll be no one left at this rate.

If Starmer gets a fixed penalty notice he's gone hasn't he?
Hoisted on his own petard.
I guess the new leader will be that brassy Northern lass who can't stop knicker flashing Boris.

Sorry should have said that was Jeremy Hunt’s quote not mine…… Ultimately they’re just point scoring what ever peoples political persuasion. They’re all as bad as each other rather than trying to make each other look bad why don’t they just get on with what they’re paid to do. All this mudslinging is just a diversion to distract from the rubbish jobs they’re doing.

If Starmer gets a fixed penalty notice he's gone hasn't he? Should be gone if so. Difficult one for Johnson - if Starmer doesn't get a fine then Starmer will say he ,unlike Johnson, was found not to have broken the rules. If Starmer gets a fine and has to resign then Johnson is left as the one who got fined but wouldn't resign.

You were confidently playing forward with an off drive, but got castled through the gate. Have to hand that to a good delivery from the bowler more than down to batsmen error imo.

It will be quite funny if Starmer resigns if he gets an FPN and Johnson and Sunak carry on regardless Politics will effectively be broken in that case. Pointless, basically. I suspect he'd just carry on as they have, saying fuck it, new rules, no-one resigns these days regardless of what they've done, as part of the the long slow erosion of political standards we're seeing under this government.

All four of them should resign:
Starmer, Rayner, Johnson and Sunak.
That'd be my response if I was Starmer. We'll go if you do. Your move.

Time for a new thread Nandy or Streeting ? You are such a hypocrite KS should resign if he is fined. As should Johnson and Sunak. Whilst KS isn’t as bad even if fined (he didn’t make the rules unlike Johnson and Sunak), he has said they should resign for being fined. It is much worse to make the rules you then break.
