I’m a labour voter historically, but I can’t vote for this faux son of a tool maker and a party that can’t define what a woman is. Democracy is in ruins. Not the only one who can't. Sunak identifying an 80 year old man as a single mum.

It always makes me chuckle that you never seem to get quite so vexed by the likes of Boris Johnson, Sunak, Robert Jenrick, Nadhim Zahawi, Michael Gove etc etc yet they are all far worse than anything you'll see from Starmer! 40% of that list have been convicted of an offence while in office ffs How many of the current parliamentary Conservative Party are under investigation and/or have broken the ministerial code? All of the above is irrelevant to the thread It’s about starmer Your totally within your rights to judge starmer how you wish But you do yourself no good saying others are worse or just the same How about trying to prove starmer’s a man of his word It will be interesting over the next few days now sanwar has let the cat out of the bag about another euro referendum And Starmer is the model of integrity compared with any in that list.

Your source "Skwawkbox" is impeccable but complete Bullshit The conspiracy theory originated from Tory Peer Lord Ashcroft who wrote a Biography called Red Knight on Starmer in an attempt to find dirt, there wasn't any. The best Ashcroft could come up with was that Starmers Father Rodney worked as an Independent Self-employed Toolmaker and he grew up in a 3 Bedroom Semidetached House which his parents owned via a Mortgage There are people of a certain type who have a world view that accepts any cockamamie Conspiracy Theory due to an inability to have Independent critical thinking Even The Torygraph in its review of Ashcrofts book panned it and had this to say. With Red Knight, Michael Ashcroft tries to find dirt on Starmer, but all he unearths is a decent, hardworking man and a bit of a bore www.telegraph.co.uk/books/what-to-read/red-knight-lord-ashcroft-review-keir-starmer-bore/Surprised they haven't made up stuff about him. Murdoch empire and the bbc were very capable at doing that to the last Labour leader. If there's no dirt, fake or real, hitting the headlines then that's reason enough to be concerned. Starmer is Murdochs boy. That's Reverse Conspiracy of the New World Order. Interesting.

Starmer now 1:6 to be next PM, a nailed on certainty.
Almost at the point where they might take it as given and close the books.

Fake apparently.......... I agree, it does sound like a robot though. I knew it wasn't Starmer as the sentence didn't include the phrase "When I was Director of Public Prosecutions"

Important few weeks for Starmer, the Muslim community (I hate that phrase apologies) are really pissed off with him and members and councillors are quitting in their droves. He's already tried to backtrack even though he clearly said on LBC the phrase he's denying so it will be interesting to see how he handles it, his PR trip to visit a Islamic Centre in Wales went down like a lead balloon also........

Couldn’t bring himself to support striking nurses and can’t see need for ceasefire in Gaza. Just needs to up his transphobia and insult Meghan Markle and he’ll be a shoe in for a column in the Daily Mail.

I would say Starmers position with Israel would have likely been heavily influenced by his will to distance the Labour party from Corbyn.

The World is entirely Bonkers at the moment
Russia proposed a UN resolution for a Humanitarian Ceasefire which was supported by China but opposed by the three other Permanent Members of the Security Council US UK and France who hold a Veto.
If adopted, it would have strongly condemned all violence and hostilities directed against civilians and all acts of terrorism. By its further terms, it would also have called for the secure release of all hostages and unimpeded provision and distribution of humanitarian assistance, including of food, fuel and medical treatment.
Clearly a terrible idea
Of course I'm not naive enough to consider Russia and China suddenly have become Humanitarians but it exposes the "West's" hypocrisy of selecting from an a la carte menu who is deserving of their Humanity

I would say Starmers position with Israel would have likely been heavily influenced by his will to distance the Labour party from Corbyn. Influenced more by his lack of principles, morals and backbone. He appears to have all the qualities needed to be a modern Tory prime minister.

I know but those with an agenda against him need to shut him down because he was a danger to businesses and their huge profits. Corbyn is clearly pro resolution and not the bad guy he's painted out to be although very naive. He's one of few politicians in politics for the people not for his own gain.

His objective is Power, if he succeeds we will see if it's Power for Power sake or to make good decisions The Conservatives are desperate to link him to Corbyn He's making the calculation that he'll lose less votes supporting the Government position than by opposing it A Conviction Politician he ain't
