Started Painkiller on Netflix over the weekend. Pretty good so far. Details the start of Oxycontin. Dramatisation but it's good so far. Is it infuriating? That those mass killing slimeballs might get away with everything boils my piss.

I said to a mate of mine can you think of another country where this would be allowed and encouraged as much as it was. I don't want to hate on the US too much because I work with some of them but they are a different breed. Imagine telling someone you're going on holiday to a place where open carry of guns is allowed and access to health care for abortion can be illegal and people would think you're describing some tin pot African regime. Say the same and you're going to America and people smile and ask if you'll see Mickey Mouse

I would, it's worth sticking with but I can see why it isn't for everyone. Midsomer Murders it's not

I took advantage of a 2-month free AppleTV trial (google for Stephen Curry free trial).
I'm loving dystopian sci-fi Silo a few episodes in. Rebecca Ferguson is excellent in it. The last of the human race lives in an underground and heavily regulated silo (1984 vibes) as they believe the earth's surface is toxic and ruined. At times it's a crime drama, mystery, thriller.
Ted Lasso is very good so far too. I thought it was going to be a silly comedy, but it's very heartfelt too. By most accounts, the 2nd and 3rd series aren't as good, but I'll stick with it. I liked the Pulis called asking if we were looking for a new manager in one episode.
I finished series four of Westworld. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as the first two series. It's a shame it's been cancelled so we won't see the final conclusion series 5 was due to be.

I've delved a lot into Korean type series and there are great ones about... bloodhounds, sweet home, hellbound, etc. Night agent and the recruit on netflix are decent too.

Wolf worth sticking with them because I thought the first was mediocre popcorn?
It’s based on a series of books by former page 3 model, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Each episode is hard too watch at times due to the subject but it really should be

Apple seem to be leading the way at the minute. Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, Blackbird, Crowded Room, Silo... All different but good watches. My recommendation though would be Severance. Probably the best thing I have watched over the last couple of years. It's basically about people who's homelife memories and work memories are somehow severed, meaning once they leave work they can't remember anything, including what they do, who they work with etc. The same goes for homelife once they are at work. As you can imagine it gets quite sinister and in theory you could be tortured at work then once you take the lift out of the office your non working self takes over and happily will send you back in the next day. I haven't really explained it well but worth a watch.

Gets better as it goes along and looking forward to next season. Another great Apple series is 'Shrinking'. Really liked that one. www.imdb.com/title/tt15677150/

Not sure what to follow Silo with for the drama yet. Lots of recommendations to consider from this thread.

What's really frustrating about Snowpiercer is that even though the 4th and last series has been filmed, the TV network have decided to drop it. Unless another network picks up the rights, we wont even see the ending. That's one of my pet hates about Netflix especially. I watch a program that's really good to then find out its been canned after a series.
