He should be brought back ASAP, he really has to be a much better option than Sparrow or Duhaney.

Wonder if he's primed for a loan in England somewhere?
The door seems closed here with Fosu signing.

Wonder if he's primed for a loan in England somewhere? The door seems closed here with Fosu signing. On the other hand, Delap's interview about Fosu suggests we see him as a potential wing back on either side or even on the left of a front 3 should we ever want to play that formation. If Delap's opinion is correct then Fosu should be a great addition to the squad because of his versatility which COULD mean the door is still open for Edwards who, don't forget, has spent most of his loan in the USA at centre back.

So is he back/in training/registered and eligible to play then I’ve not seen confirmation anywhere?

When Edwards left, I expected never to see him in a Stoke line-up again. But needs must and I reckon he'd be better than anyone else we have available.

Have seen Edwards play multiple times in MLS, compared to what we've got, yes he's good enough - get his ass back here now. And if MON has a problem with him then ship MON to NY.
Edit: But I haven't watched him 25 times... MON? I've seen TOO much

Another case of a player being remembered as better than he was.
Ok in MLS, no more. Was overweight, slow and couldn't cross a ball before he left.Last of the wasters with Etebo we need binning for good.

Fosu is his man for that role whilst Clarke is out. If our only two LWB options are loans, Fosu and Clarke, Edwards has absolutely no chance. He'll be out on loan again until his contract runs out.

Wonder where this leaves Tom's future at the club now it was clear O'Neil didn't rate him or like him hopefully he like all the other players gets a clean slate.

Looking forward to a less clown shoe wearing, more sensible manager getting him back involved.

Looking forward to a less clown shoe wearing, more sensible manager getting him back involved. We have Clarke there now for a flat back four. We have Wilmot, who can play there as back up (against less good players than Brereton, whose one of the best players in the league). It’s unlikely that we are going to drop Clarke in my opinion, unless he plays really poorly/is out for a long time. You need to keep big clubs happy for loans in the future. So, is he going to come here to be 2nd/3rd choice? What good does that do him? And what good does it do us to pay his wages for that? Edit: does anyone actually know what happened? Has he just gone on unpaid leave for NYRB? Surely a player can’t just cancel their loan contract unless both clubs agree to it? I don’t see why we would.

More hope and hype than actual substance. I don't see what everyone else is clamoring for, each time I see them play I'm flabbergasted. You look at young Delap doing half cruyff turns mid match today and you see what Man City sees. When I look at the later three mentioned I laugh at this board calling them up and coming.

I thought he could cross a ball, seems mad he is a centre half there as his defensive side of the game was easily his biggest weakness for me!

Absolute nonsense Etebo would improve our midfield no end. If we can’t move him on for a chunk of his wages that would allow us to bring in a seriously decent player we should get him playing. He’s nothing like the other two when he gets a loan it’s always to a higher level. I really couldn’t give a shit what he wants if you want your wages you will play for them would be my stance.
