But surely you have to say 3rd round 4th round Etc etc Were all cheated too yet the thread suggests we'd of won the FA cup As the OP I was/am genuinely interested in how people feel. As for me Im not trying to rewrite history and I agree every team they played and beat has been cheated if the charges are proven by UEFA in subsequent appeals- its a huge issue for their club and their historical credibility. For me I do feel we were cheated- I remember looking at our depleted team, and the fact that their bench was packed with international stars never mind the first team, and my heart sank.It didnt feel like a sporting event where the outcome was at all in doubt and to think it was rigged financially makes me feel sick given we are unlikely to ever be at another FA cup final in my lifetime. Wigan 2013 proved that they were beatable on the day |

Ethers and Huth were nowhere near fit and a fit Fuller would have given us an option on the day too.

Wigan 2013 proved that they were beatable on the day And since then no team has beaten them in either an FA Cup Final or a League Cup Final. 7 final appearances, 6 wins. The 2011 final was significant in that it was the first trophy they'd won since the takeover. They weren't the same team in 2013 and arguably not performing for Mancini. |
