Never happened apparently Neither did Pulis's achievements. Might it be possible to think both Pulis and Hughes did a good job for pretty decent spells before it went south for them both?

I'm curious as to how things would have turned out had we stuck with four at the back under Hughes, changing to the five was just a disaster frankly. I think he wanted a 'system' and wanted to show how tactically intelligent he believed he was.
I think he was a good man manager for the most part, and one of those who as long as the recruitment is alright will set up in a straight forward system where the roles are uncomplicated and as long as you have the right quality and attitudes in the squad you're sound.
Recruitment is undeniably what killed us, we had a very good thing going and I think after some good purchases and deals we got carried away, tried high risk stuff and it went to absolute pot.

No ..... its not Coventry away Was hoping it was a tutorial of how to try to convert your most prolific (albeit someone who couldn't control a ball) striker at the time into a wing back

Some fantastic memories during Hughes first couple of seasons and I doubt I'll see anything like it again in my lifetime. There's no question he was a top class manager.
I really liked Hughes and in hindsight it would have been better if he had stayed to the end of the season as I think he'd have managed to pull a few points out of the bag like he always did.
I could cry when I think how it so quickly turned to shit though.

I am really concerned about Mark Hughes
I heard he has bought a Jag , a Maserati and two Bentley's in the last three months
I am worried he has that car owner virus
