I'm not saying this guy is the answer to all of our problems, he certainly isn't the 1 in 2 striker all teams look for, however he is a 1 in 4 striker.
That being said I feel we would be 2-6 points better of over the last 8 games if we had of kept him in our squad.
I'd be looking to bring him back from turkey, surely be a cheaper option than bringing in a loan player from a prem club.

You can’t just break the terms of the agreement on a whim.

He clearly doesn't want to play for us, so there's no point even if we could recall him from his loan.

How’s he doing in turkey They are legally binding agreements. They are paying his wages and gave us a fee to have him for the season. You can’t just undo these things....unless there is desire from all three parties to do so, which will involve us giving them their money back.

Does this bloke deserve a 2nd chance with us next season under the guidance of a proper manager, one who seems to be getting the best out of our players by playing a system that suits us. I think he was hung out to dry a little bit with having to play a role he wasnt suited too, also have no doubt that had he of stayed he would of scored more than the 4 goals Gregory has to his name this season. Yes. Think he’d do well with Campbell. Plus one of the Scottish lads and that could be the basis of a good strike force to select from Why do you think Campbell is staying

I am I right in thinking him and Vokes cost a combined 20 plus million, add Ince to that and we are over 30 million on 3 attackers who would struggle to get 10 goals between them in a season

His form is really bad in Turkey. The Trabzonspor supporters want to send him back. £12 million. Along with the £7 million + for Vokes. Two strikers there with a combined cost of nearly £20 million plus wages. Look at their contributions to this football club. It’s enough to make you either weep, throw up, or punch a hole in a wall 😡😡

Problem is, not only are they all shit, they are getting paid ludicrous salaries that no other club would be prepared to pay. They will be stuck here until their contracts expire and that’s the sobering reality.

He is but they said on sky last night during the Brighton match they were thinking of recalling him due to his lack of game time.

Woods and Afobe are out on loan, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we are subsidising their salaries to a degree.

Something was fundamentally wrong not just with those we bought, but also what we went on to do with them. Hopefully those days are now over.

After talking him up in pre season, then seeing him fail in pre season games, MON was quick and happy to let Afobe leave with a not particularly complimentary goodbye quote. Taking Afobe back would require MON to eat his own words, don't see it happening.

He was a flop first time around! and the rest. Jones shipped him out as well as his flop under Rowett. MO'N made overtures to build him up, gave him a lot of chances pre- season, and eventually decided to get him out of the club. Another few £million flushed down the toilet.
