Another friday signing? Who'd have thought it? Not just another Friday signing though it’s also one who’s injured so double bonus!

I love that MON is going with our youth players like Tyrese, Verlinden, Collins, etc instead of wasting money on washed PL players and career championship journeymen.

Well done Stoke.
Since we appointed a proper manager it feels like things are generally moving in the right direction. There is no chance Campbell would have signed on if we had the previous few managers in charge.

Great effort to get him to sign by all involved.
A little word to his fuckwit of a father though...
Nobody is interested in anything you have got to say, you were a dreadfully average footballer and you talk a right load of shit, so leave Twitter to the audience it is aimed at who are at least 20 years your junior, because a bloke of your age should know better, and the majority of the people who you are speaking to haven't got the first clue who you are, which perhaps isn't a bad thing otherwise they'd know that you were fucking shit.

Not at all I try to be balance contrary to public opinion. So basically you are a wind up merchant, the Oatcake's version of Adrian Durham? He's about as popular here as you are

The new contract is good news and could be the best signing of the window even if we make more new signings.
When Kevin kept spouting off (especially with that bizarre racism rant), I thought it was the end of Tyrese at Stoke.

Fair to say this, from his father, is interesting... This manager is truly a class act an and the main reason Tyrese is committing to Stoke City

This is a great signing for the club and another green shoots of recovery moment for Michael O'Neil. It really feels like finally we are starting to turn the corner and some better days could be ahead.

Well done Stoke and Tyrese. Now continue to develop into a top class goalscorer for Stoke if you do it will mean success for both parties. Then a top level club may come along and give you an opportunity to go even higher and Stoke get a decent reward. Win win.

Tying down both Bursik and Campbell to new deals makes this potentially one of the best week's business by Stoke in a long long time. Of course the week we signed MON was pretty good as well! It would be nice if Tyrese won a U21 cap in the game to be played at the bet365 in a few months time. There will be a few intakes of breath at the length of Campbell's new contract but I assume the contract will acknowledge that we are investing in potential rather than an established (high value) player. So it has to be a safer bet than the long contracts and huge salaries offered to players like Imbula and Wimmer etc. As a matter of interest, does anyone know how a youngster already on the books who is signed on a long contract for a (comparatively modest) signing on fee is valued in the club's accounts? There is no purchase fee to be used to assess the capital value - so is the player valued purely on whatever the value of the signing on fee? Let's hope they both realise their potential, along with Collins and if we are really being greedy maybe even Sorenson and a couple more...

Good stuff. Anyone care to hazard a guess at the release clause activation value? I’ll start with £15m.

Surprised at the length of the deal . Kevin Campbell is sucking up to MON don't be fooled by that clown. I'm 50/50 as you simply can't argue on current form but I'm not convinced yet Just let's not forget that probably half of the posters on here were saying get rid he's bone idle, will never make it, lazy, etc etc . Hopefully a great signing today, but 2 1/2 years was ample.
