He really is a class act when you compare him to Warnock.

This is the most I've loved a Stoke manager since Lou. When we eventually return, the ground should be rocking to the chants of his name.

I tell you what, when we can get a full-on rocking stadium again, he will get to know what he really means to us..... so much to love about the guy, there really is !!

He really is a class act when you compare him to Warnock. Puts Warnock to shame really doesn't it.The Boro fans were even calling him delusional when he claimed they were the better side today. It's a little embarrassing and reaks of dirty rotten guts!

You just get the feeling he's got a real rapport going with the players, as has been said, class act.

Interview with Percy (although you need a free Telegraph account to read it)

Should be interesting, if only for injury updates. Wonder if Allen managed an 11 v 11 practice match as alluded to last week. So difficult to arrange I would imagine with so many fixtures.

I would assume that the pre Derby press conference will be one of the most eagerly awaited and perused "statements" of the season so far. So much is uncertain or speculative at the moment.

Couple of lines from the MON Percy interview. His main hobby is going on long bike rides around the Cheshire countryside
“I did fear the club slipping into League One. We were perilously close to getting into a position where it was irretrievable.”
"The squad lacked focus and there were a lot of disenchanted players who saw themselves elsewhere"
“We had too many players who we had to leave out and they were unhappy: that’s when your dressing room is under threat. Contracts had been readjusted after relegation and how that affects players can sometimes be overlooked.
“There is so much tactical information, data and analysis around nowadays, but the human quality is something you can’t measure. This is vital for any group to be successful and then the other bits fall into place.
“There is a lot of stuff we still have to address, such as five players being out on loan who the club invested a lot of money in. That situation needs resolving for our sake and the players. When we get that, we’ll have a clear path to continue building the club.”
"We had a situation with Tyrese where in his mind he had checked out"
“Thankfully we addressed that and we saw a boy who wanted to play and hadn’t been given a chance.”

Are we now able to say that Tyrese Campbell is one of the "hottest properties" in English football. (Subject to injury status)?

Are we now able to say that Tyrese Campbell is one of the "hottest properties" in English football. (Subject to injury status)? Probably Yes, and especially after 31st December. Decent English players are going to be at a Premium.

Are we now able to say that Tyrese Campbell is one of the "hottest properties" in English football. (Subject to injury status)? We might. They may. But because of the economic situation I don't think he's going to be targetted as much as he might have been had the situation been different. He's untried, well almost untried (had a few minutes under Hughes) at PL level. I don't think anyone is going to pay £25M for a player with no real PL experience, who doesn't get selected internationally, and whose goal count is still limited. He doesn't even have one good season behind him, so I think he's going to be a Stoke player for a while yet.
