I'm a bit disappointed he doesn't live locally if I'm honest. No reason why he should any more than many of the players do. If we hope to keep him for a while it’s probably better if he is settled somewhere he is most happy with, as long as it’s easily commutable.

I just had visions of him being another Lou who came, fell in love with and stayed in our wonderfully backward and rather awkward city

I'm a bit disappointed he doesn't live locally if I'm honest. Why? If he moved to Stoke he'd be gone within 12 months.

To be fair to Blakeman his questioning was much more interrogating than the usual Nige questioning.

No one back for the QPR game then, going to be another tough 90 minutes on the road for the patched up squad. Where the international break when you need it?

Think cousins is doing fine personally never really saw the point in Mikel cousins did well at the end of last year too an£ with Allen coming back we will have a decent midfielder in the stands and brown on the wing

Fosters does a job, good for when your thirsty, it does a good job don’t get me wrong. However a pint of Peroni on tap hits the spot. 😀

Ish. Cousins has to stay in. Always good news to have players returning. It’s up to the manager to make it work. Cousins has done well since coming in though.

Good news on Mikel nothing on Gregory. What’s happened to him? He was asked about Gregory last week. I think the verdict was that he’s still two or three weeks away.

Ish. Cousins has to stay in. MON was pretty fulsome in his praise for Cousins in the Radio Stoke interview. It'll be interesting to see which 2 he goes with from Tymon, Cousins and Mikel (if he's fit to start) Let's face it, there's no way he'll leave Mikel out once he gets back in

It'll be interesting to see which 2 he goes with from Tymon, Cousins and Mikel (if he's fit to start) Let's face it, there's no way he'll leave Mikel out once he gets back in He’s got to to some extent. Mikel needed dropping a few games before he got injured and I think him getting injured has actually helped us. It’s shown we have someone who can come in and allow you to rest JOM and then use him properly and rest him. We overplayed Mikel and we can’t have him playing every game. It was daft. We also saw he can’t defend, he isn’t the DM we thought we were signing. But he is about the best passer in the squad. Both of them in the same midfield seems ideal. Clucas needs a proper rest too. He’s been bar Vokes our worst player this season but he hasn’t been fit. I’m not convinced he’s over the injury he had at the end of last season.
