Such a likeable bloke. No bullshit and seems to see the same game as the supporters which is a rarity amongst managers

What a refreshing change to hear a stoke manager who knows what he's talking about. Those 2 little clowns have finally had a change of luck......... Things are looking up......

bigging up Nick Powell a lot, he clearly wants to build the team around him.
A bit of a nothing game from Powell today. Not really at the races because he hasnt played much and he was drifting all over the pitch at times.
He isnt really suited to 4-3-3 to be honest as he clearly needs to play further upfront. A bit of a conundrum because hes a class player

A bit of a conundrum because hes a class player First half I think Powell did well, we need someone with his attacking qualities as Gregory on his own up top isn’t going to result in many goals based on what we’ve seen so far. I’m not sure 4-3-3 is that well suited to the players we have whoever plays, but so long as we get some points on the board and clear of the bottom three then it’s fine for now. I don’t think we are strong enough up front to be really successful in this league.

Think he’s more useful the higher up the pitch he is though.

So refreshing, he will turn it around...
Needs to work on his football Scripture though, God Willing, hallelujah, praise the Lord

Thankfully we got him and not TP back, we'd have just ground out back to back 0-0 draws and be told be grateful for them.

Love him, just love him. We have an adult in charge. This. For the first time in what seems like a very long while, we have a grown-up running the show. He has an air of natural authority about him, and doesn’t need to try and prove it with excessive noise and “passion”. He doesn’t feel the need to make everything about himself, and seems completely focused on the job at hand. I don’t know much about the bloke, but I like what I’ve seen so far.

A bit of a conundrum because hes a class player I thought Powell had a decent game, but suffers from the same problem Bojan did - his football brain is way ahead of his teammates, and they struggle to anticipate from him. More game time will sort this, it’s a good problem to have.
