I think gregory got around 12 last season for struggling milwall...maybe we should look at ourselves if he doesnt hit the onoin bag more regularly with us. It's not the rest of the teams fault he's missed sitters. He's awful. Is he though bayern?...while he may not be prolific at scoring his link up play is second to none...the amount of times we regain the ball from his constant harrasing shouldn't go unoticed...he'll score the ofd few.

Let's blame it on Gregory so we all feel better. We're playing with two strikers now so let's spread the perceived blame at least. Once you've got your hooks into someone, Bayern, you don't let go.

Only in the same way I rate sidibie. If you can't see what he does or brings to the team then there is no hope for you in terms of football.....just a predetermined agenda being hammered into every hole. Pathetic really. The agenda of staying in the Championship? That won't happen with the likes of Lee Gregory leading the line. But he runs a lot so that's fine. He's a poor striker that doesn't help us in our attacking play and has made us worse going forward than we were last season. Marvellous player. Bayern....when will people get it in their head's that Gregory is NOT, repeat NOT a striker, he's a forward who shouldn't be played as a Lone striker, Jones is hanging him out to dry!!! He's a Sidebe type of player, who thrives more on helping a striker rather than being an out and out goal scorer!!! He needs someone playing off him, someone who can read him!!! I suspect Jones's way of thinking is, let Gregory hold the ball up up front, and bring in others around him, but whatever it is.....it ain't working???

Millwall stayed up with Lee Gregory leading the line. It is possible. By the skin of their teeth. He's a poor Championship player, a decent League One player. And that's what we're getting. Hes no more a poor championship player as Edwards or ince. Hes not particularly good but hes far away from being as bad as the two players you have a raging hard on for.

Yes. His link up play has been good in a few games granted but generally he's looked poor.

And is a far better footballer and if used would take us far higher than Gregory could. Edwards is still in the formative years of his career so that's a daft comparison.

I never wanted Mama in the side and think we'd have been better without him. You don't need that sort of player if you make the team function elsewhere. It seems to be a thing peddled by Stoke fans around a certain caution over football in general. A comfort blanket almost. It's not something I'll ever agree with because most teams seem to "get away" with it. But it's not getting away with anything, it's just balanced. Gregory as a sub would be great.

I'm not saying he should necessarily be in the side, I'm just pointing out that he's not a striker, as many on here have difficulty in understanding!!! If we're going to play with two up top, at the moment, you've got to use Gregory, as one of the two, he's about the best of a sorry bunch......if you're just going with the lone striker, then NO.....but god knows who you can put there???

In all seriousness, attitude problem with this bloke - or another £4m shovelled down the shitter?
27, captained a team in the Prem recently, 200 league games and should be at peak age.
And he's being kept out at RB by CCV who before this season had played one career game at RB for Spurs u23s in 2014.
What the hell is going on?
