Spoil your ballot paper then, it's the democratic thing to do...... What if he doesn't want to vote Labour? 😜 It was the "I'm disenfranchised.....I don't trust any of them" bit that gave it away mate.....

If you're coming to that conclusion without looking at the manifesto that is entirely up to you of course..... Your only arguement is to so far imply nobody else knows anything, has read nothing and they're ignorant in a typical sarcastic and belittling left-wing way. Have a bit of substance to you. He stated that he actually spoke to a Labour Member on his door step and you're saying that it doesn't matter what the canvasser said to his face, because GeneralFaye may or may not of read a document. Tell him he didn't even know what he voted for in the first place as you lot normally do while you're at it. I didn't say that at all, but someone canvassing before the manifesto is out isn't going to be able to give detailed information on policy and costings until they're announced are they? If that was a week's time I would absolutely expect them to have at least a basic understanding of what's on offer or they shouldn't be knocking on doors and speaking to people. But I had a Lib Dem canvasser knock on the door on Saturday morning who said they were trying to gauge how people would be voting, when I politely said "Not Lib Dem although I did vote for them under Charles Kennedy" she walked off without engaging. It happens rightly or wrongly. Not sure what you mean by "you lot", you sound angry to be honest are you ok?

You did say it, just not in those words and you know full well what you implied with your reply. I also didnt realise the manifesto was completely thought of just today. The canvassers would of been prepared obviously, their manifesto has been debated by the party for weeks, possibly even months. As a paying member of a political party, you get to engage in these kind of decisions. Canvassers will be paying members of the Labour party, and therefore will have had some knowledge of what their parties beliefs are and how they'll execute a number of those beliefs into society etc, otherwise how can they ask you to vote for them? I mean by you lot, "The left". I'm not angry though, I just find it slightly embarrassing how you and other left wing voters sneer at anyone else's political views and brand them uneducated on matters, either directly or, as was the case with yourself, subliminally.

Massive Redistribution of wealth sounds like a great idea on paper, but in practice it will just result in the overall pie getting smaller, This is why big governments always fail, it destroys that which sustains it, once you’ve soaked the rich and milked them via high taxes where does the money come from ?

I'll let GeneralFaye decide whether he thought I was sneering and branding him uneducated, but I most certainly wasn't. It has nothing to do with political views, I would say the same to anyone of any political persuasion. If you want to get an understanding of what a party stands for in an election campaign read the manifesto......

Just curious. And I really hope you can answer this without your bright red binoculars on. Do you think, that raising Corporation tax by 7pct is going to encourage businesses, foreign or domestically owned, to invest further in the UK and boost our economy, OR will they say bollocks to paying that much more in tax and set up elsewhere costing jobs up and down the country, aswell as the government losing out on the current 19% tax they pay into our system? (Which we so badly need to pay for everything Jeremov Corbynski has promised)

TYPICAL LABOUR BULLSHIT. They're all 25% or above, and it's not 2 that are more than 26% (Germany has a system whereby Corporation Tax is 15% but with municipal charges it totals between 30-33%, Japan has an additional 4.4% local corporate charge on top of the 24% etc.) Up until 2011 throughout our history corporation tax has been 26% or above. You think a company will move lock stock and barrel over 1%? I doubt it......

Completely missing the bigger picture mate, pissing in the wind.

How many times do we have to tell you that the recession was caused by John Prescott spending £20 billion on a NHS computer system that never saw the light of day, Gordon Brown selling the nation’s gold reserve at rock bottom prices and Tony Bliar taking the nation into an illegal war. Do you remember the note “ The money has all gone”

International Trade Secretary Liz Truss was challenged over her party's record on housing on BBC Politics Live earlier.
Asked how many of the 200,000 new homes promised as part of a government schemes announced in 2014 were actually built, Ms Truss said she didn't have the exact numbers.
But the BBC's Andrew Neil pointed out it wasn't difficult to remember the figure - as it was zero.

How on earth did the Labour Party come to this Attachment Deleted

Is Labours plan to have us drowning in debt? Because I have no idea where they're finding all this supposed money they're PROMISING to spend. They don’t care about debt, as john Maynard Keynes said, ”in the long run we’re all dead” the ironic thing about Labours policies is they’re supposed to help the less well off, but, in the long run they’re going to be terrible for that demographic when the long term consequences hit, and they will. Labours policies will just make everyone poorer. 100% right. The austerity measures we will need to fix the Armageddon they will plunge us into will effect virtually all of us.

I just dont know what people are so scared about regarding Labour. The tories have and are constantly lying about absolutely everything so in truth you dont know what to believe. As in Labours case they are promising to attempt to put right what the tories have done and of course it will come at a cost but what do expect.Under the tories their only option is to tax the people as they have no other income.Under Labour they propose to hit the wealthy ,buy back some businesses in to public ownership which will in turn in the long run benefit the people as government will have more flexibility and money to put back into society. And then people get scared about the debt ,they should be more scared about putting a decent dinner on their families plates, jobs, higher wages all of which are killing SOT .Lowest wages of any city in the UK and people think the tories are going to pout right what they have in turn done to the city.Other cities of similar ilk to Stoke are also suffering but not as much as ours.

Stoke-on-Trent north has been a Labour constituency since before my Parents we're born. Regardless of who runs the government, local MP's have a duty to support their own people within said constituencies and unfortunately, Labour have done fuck all for us. And that is including when Labour were the majority government.
