they'll figure that out later, for now they just want "free" and "if labour win election" in the headlines. It might work. It nearly did last election with free tuition and paying off student debt promises. One bloke I worked with voted Labour specifically because of it. The altruistic bastard. Yep, it might well work, they've got nothing to lose now so they'll be going full on oprah.

They may not be all voting the way you think though mate! I talked to my son earlier, he says students were making confetti out of Labour flyers outside of Nottingham Trent Business School. A very angry lecturer told them that if they don't vote Labour they only deserve to work at Mcdonalds. Don't think they are buying it this time mate. I do t expect they all would. Conversely the new apprentice in the office told me the other day that Tory students are virtually non existent amongst her social circle and when she was at college. Is that representative anywhere away from her, no. Just like yours. Time will tell.

Free broadband is a great idea. It will help improve education and give teachers better resources for all students. It will also help lower violent crime due to a better educated population and ease pressure on the police. It may cost a lot at face value but there are definitely positives. There may be other positives too which i can't think of but it sounds good to me.

A friend of mine would like to know if they will limit access to porn? Under a Corbyn premiership each household will receive a free premium membership to pornhub.

To be fair, he's getting good at taking money off unsuspecting right wingers who thought they were paying something to be able to stand in the elections. That 300k he's basically stole this week covers years salary of being a lord 🙄 Can't imagine running a campaign is cheap. Do you have any evidence Farage has personally pocketed the money ? i'm not saying he hasn't but you're making a claim, back it up. He's certainly not used it to hire a fashion advisor Nope. None. He is a director of The Brexit Party Ltd and I am assuming he's got some of the 15 allocated shares which are shares which enable dividend payments.

Just because he hasn't within a week, doesn't mean he won't have at all. I don't actually care if he has or not, he's still a charlatan in my opinion but I won't complain as I don't want Brexit to happen as it is right now and him standing anywhere makes it a better chance than none of derailing further IMO.

Like it or not (and both campaigns are full of gaping holes, gaffes and idiots) but Labour have set the agenda every day so far.
The Tories must have more up their sleeve....surely?
It's looking a lot like the appalling 'strong and stable' campaign for the Tories so far.

Not a lot of hope, no talk of change or ambition, just demonization. The same tactics as austerity basically.

Question time audience interesting tonight, spent the first half of the show complaining about the NHS being overrun then the other half basically saying we should have open borders and allow the world in with no limits... it is in Brighton tonight though, so it’s to be expected, didn’t they elect a green to parliament ?
A girl complaining that British people go abroad and spend money in foreign countries, all very odd.

It’s ok nationalising open reach but how do they sell this to virgin et al who also have investing millions in this field Virgin and all would be heading straight to the courts, nevermind BT shareholders who face having assets virtually stolen

not only did the tories bribe the DUP to hang onto power from the magic money tree, they then attempted to get the civil service to do there political work it is now emerging that they are attempting to use the honours system to get candidates of the brexit party to stand down the tories the corrupt lying, immoral party get them out now!!

See Bonzo has jibbed out of going to Glastonbury this afternoon, cause there were protesters there. He’s a £@#&!n lightweight. He’s going to have to get used to this, cause he’s not the most likeable of people. At least Corbyn turns up to his appointments. Man up Joris! Speaking of Glastonbury, came across this the other day (not literally, that would be odd) “Get your £@#&!n hat on, I paid £6 for that!”

Total insanity from Labour. If there is one area that exemplifies the benefits of free market vs state owned industry it is the field of telecommunications. The privatisation of BT and the opening of the market to competition is what has driven the industry to where it is today. Before that it, it was in stasis. Ridiculous.

I've no idea if it's a " good" or workable policy or not but.....
Why not free food for everyone and let Macdonalds, Costa and Starbucks pay?
