Please before considering voting for this Conservative party ( that has lost many of its moderate wing) consider thier record with disabled people. It’s awful and has caused tremendous suffering Just remember austerity was a product of the moderate wing .... not forgetting that note..... there's no money left ..... and don't forget this was from a "prudent", "no more boom and bust" chancellor. I dearly hope my kids don't have the opportunity to spend the next 30 years paying off the borrowing of a Corbyn administration.

If that happened john it would mean an electoral pact with the Brexit party , something Johnson ruled out weeks ago . I don't think farage would support Johnson with his brexit deal anyway so he's just keeping him at arms length Also I don't think that the powers behind the scenes in those parties who think that they have an unchallengeable right to be the only ones allowed to govern ( Conservatives Labour and even the LibDems) could not contemplate not contesting every seat... they would be portrayed as not a national party...... putting party before country. What are your feelings on your leader Nigel selling you down the river and "bottling it" BRINO... here we come eh...😊

It’s awful and has caused tremendous suffering As some have clearly stated on here, they vote purely on the grounds of self interest. Bollocks to the disabled and other struggling people if it has no impact on their lives.....

Please before considering voting for this Conservative party ( that has lost many of its moderate wing) consider thier record with disabled people. It’s awful and has caused tremendous suffering You expect sympathy from tory voters? Its not in their genetic make up fella. It’s really sad it’s come to this tbh. Since the brexit vote in 2016 the incidents of abuse I and other disabled people I know have gone up dramatically. I don’t blame all Brexit voters at all, I know some brexit voters I respect a lot, but the box that that vote opened has enjected so so much poison into our discourse. Be in no doubt what this government has done to people, it has destroyed people’s lives! From my own perspective the Cameron government cut my benefit from £110 odd a week to £48. This was on the basis that I had a ‘fully functioning’ right hand. I can’t hold a liquid filled mug steady or hold a pen with my right hand This was a few years ago when I was a student, due to my disability I was unable to get part time work, lot of bar work and that about in Nottingham where I live but that isn’t feesable due to the reasons I’ve outlined. As a result of this I spent 3 or 4 week walking around with shoes with holes in the bottom while it was raining, due to my condition I tend to go through shoes quickly because I drag my feet. I eventually had to ask my dad to help, which I HATE doing as I feel it robs me of the independence I’ve spent my life trying to build I appealed this decision and they immediately bumped me up to £150pw. I still work part time now I’ve finished uni (25h a week in an office) what this increase in money has done is allowed me to live my life while still being healthy and happily contributing taxes on the money I do earn. Britain deserves so much better than the suffering this government has caused to me and others like me. We are so much better than this

That's his plan in my opinion I think he wants to keep Johnsons feet to the fire Brexit wise He's completely and utterly betrayed any principles that he had. Absolute self-serving wanker of the highest order. The little shit should be ashamed of himself.

It's worth noting that without Farage grandstanding about "standing down" in Tory seats, his party were in sharp decline in the polls and Johnson had done a decent job of winning back many of the people thinking about voting for the Brexit Party. Farage has seen the writing on the wall, elected not to put himself in the firing line, and is now suggesting he will give Johnson a chance - like he has any choice in the matter.
It's now about saving face for Farage and the Brexit Party. I imagine something has happened behind the scenes to leave him and his party in such a hopeless state - I thought they were good for at least 5-15 seats not too long ago, but not they'll be lucky to get one.
For his disciples they can at least rest assured that come December 13th December he'll be like Scrappy Doo, saying how he would teach these career politicians a lesson if only he had a chance - like a general election or something.

I think all the talk of vote splitting has caused many to move away from the brexit party and closer to the tories, people are wary that a vote for the BP will leave the backdoor to number 10 ajar for Labour (in a likely anti brexit coalition with the libdems)

Farage being absolutely brutalised for the hypocrite he is Bloody hell, I'd forgot about the poor bastards who had paid money for the chance to stand for election. It's got the whiff of an old fashioned fraud about it. "Roll up, roll up - buy a ticket for the chance to win a wonderful thing that I'll you what it is after we've made the draw."

More charisma and effectiveness than the other party leaders combined. I don't feel sold down the river. I can understand his predicament and decision being faced with the anti democratic , dishonest, Remainers/ establishment. I've said many times that it might take ten years to escape, let alone between now and December 12th. Whatever happens on December 12th it is only the beginning. He's head and shoulders above the other leaders in terms of honesty etc. I wouldn't glory too much in Brino if you believe in the UK....but perhaps you don't.

Hi I’ve got a quick question more about the brexit party ltd in general as opposed to the specific point about his party standing down in specific seats. Why hasn’t he issued a manifesto in line with convention? Do you find NF’s view that there should be a ‘move toward an insurance based system of healthcare’ troubling considing the high regard the NHS is held in amongst voters and the work the NHS does protecting the vulnerable and low income earners compared to many insurance based systems in other countries?

I wouldn't worry on behalf of Brexiteers

Bojan, I'm not too concerned at the moment about other aspects of any manifesto, for me the most pressing issue is BREXIT. In the current climate Id prefer a party that puts the UK first. I think that is the most important single issue. I believe in the NHS.I wouldn't presume that s move towards an insurance based system would be in the manifesto. The health 2016 manifesto of UKIP was written by Louise Bours and was totally committed to a free NHS at the point of delivery. Having said that we need some honesty about the NHS. For me it shouldn't be a political football. Health care is already rationed by means of the decisions of NICE and by postcode. If we treasure it we need to be able to discuss it honestly and to tackle flaws and inefficiency.

Otherwise, a stand up guy. www.conservativehome.com/platform/2016/06/nick-boles-im-a-moderniser-i-backed-remain-and-heres-why-i-believe-johnson-should-be-the-next-conservative-leader.htmlNick Boles: I’m a moderniser. I backed Remain. And here’s why I believe Johnson should be the next Conservative leader we should elect Boris Johnson as our next leader and Prime Minister. I have worked closely with Johnson as his chief of staff when he was first elected Mayor of London. We have had well-advertised differences in the past. But he is a modern, liberal Tory, who won two elections in a city that is naturally Labour, who has grown immensely in stature and maturity in his eight years as Mayor, and who will lead the country with the same humanity and sense of fairness that he brought to the leadership of our capital city.
