The stats continue to get worse by the week, think this has bought jones the forest and Huddersfield games He had them anyway. Depends how many points they consider enough out of those 2 games though. I'd suggest one win will be enough to keep his job for another couple of weeks. He's a lame horse that needs putting down. It's just a ridiculous way of doing things.

When does getting cut adrift at the bottom come into play for the Coates thinking? Christ that’s months away from Coates thinking. Remember how long it took before he realised we were in the shit last time

The challenge they have, the further adrift we go, the more they will need to spend to bring in a manager who has the ability to sort the horror show out. It feels like we are 1 horror show from a complete melt down from the faithful forcing the Coates hand, the only surprise is that it hasn’t turned completely yet.

Is a 0-0 draw enough to save NJ's job for another week? In my opinion no, but it's easy to see how much more space Badou and Etebo cover compared to Allen. Maybe Allen is a better choice than Clucas who was really bad today, but still I don't trust Allen anymore. Batth's inclusion was only for the batter and I repeat he is our best defender. I'll also prefer Collins to Carter Vickers, but C-V had a decent game today. My best 11 if we are going to persist with a 3-5-2 formation for the next game:
...................Butland................... ........Collins.....Batth.....Indi........... Smith.................................Edwards .........Etebo......Badou......McClean ...............Ince.......Campbell...........
Subs: Federici, Clucas, Carter-Vickers, Lindsay, woods, Vokes, Gregory.

If allen had stayed on the pitch last game we would have walked 3 points last game, followed by a good point today away at brentford.
If not for Allen's stupid sending off we would be looking at 4 points from our last 2 games tonight

If not for Allen's stupid sending off we would be looking at 4 points from our last 2 games tonight I doubt that. Allen on the pitch all season has lead to loses. The first match he's suspended, we get a point with an actual midfield and should have gotten three with a capable manager at the helm.

You may think it's a good point in isolation but in the overall context of today's results it wasn't enough as I've stated on other threads teams in and around us won.

We struggle to do much about games involving other teams historically. It could be a vital point by the end of the season.

Will we beat Crawley? They knocked Norwich out. If we do win does that mean that everything is fine? I used to care so passionately and now the only way to avoid bitter disappointments seems to be not to care.

Lowest ebb of my Stoke supporting life, I realise we have, on paper, been in a lower division and had far worse teams, but to watch our fall over the last 3 years is soul destroying. This could be the end for an awful lot of Stoke fans as they drift away from the club, for all they have done the Coates need to have a long long look in the mirror tonight

Great result, it’s brilliant to go into the break on a win, however, stay of execution or papering over the cracks? Could the board get lucky?

He's no where near out of the woods with the owners for me they have a decision to make stick or twist?? You could make a case for either an incoming manager could look at it and think they could get a tune out of this squad they could also give NJ more time however if they were to go down that route you'd think it would have to be on a game by game basis.
