And yet looking back at the Leicester highlights he was probably the most positive, energetic, driving, forceful player we had on the pitch, driving past with ease top quality premier league players. Not bad for a useless wanker. And he was awful for both goals. The left hand side was overrun all game. It was overrun because Allen looked like he didn't want to be there and was positionally inept. The first goal there was him and Allen on 2 players, Mcclean went to one and Allen stood there. By the time Allen had reacted the player was gone and couldn't stop him from putting the ball in. Although it is then poorly defended on the other side. The second is Mccleans fault, he gambled on getting the ball instead of staying with the player. You can see the frustration with himself so he knows it's on him. |

I don’t think we needed that. We need quality in key areas. But we did A pulis side had it And a sprinkling of quality You need players who you would be in the trenches with players who care a bit players who have pride Not overpriced overpaid wankers Then you can add to it quality once the basics are in place Nothing fancy just solid and effective You need players who can pass the ball. Who can cross the ball. And who can shoot straight. That’s what we struggled with last season. |

What the fuck am I reading on here. I listened to the interview and he answered everything. Why the hell are people reading inbetween the lines like a 3-2-1 clue? Bloody hell, the season hasn't started and we're not just second guessing but 8th guessing on stuff and moaning about every answer. Nit picking negative doomsayers, if we had Man City's squad the fuckers would still moan. |

I found myself disagreeing with Jones on a few things but he's paid to be the manager and I'll let him get on with it. Even despite a couple of areas in the side I'm not happy about, I still think we'll do alright this season. Where do you think we'll finish if we don't manage to bring anyone else in? Floating around the edges of the play offs, maybe sneaking in with the help of a stiff breeze.. but, can anyone say with any real certainty where we or anyone else will finish in this league? |

More like he thought getting Justin to sign was a cert after working with him before. Unfortunately we don’t have player suited to this system. I fully agree that in a flat 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 we’d be solid and effective but in a diamond we’re exposed in key areas. |

That's the negative way of interpretating his comments re Ward. How do you interpret his words on the matter? He said (not verbatim) that Ward was an excellent player to have at the Club, his experience and character were exemplary. A real professional. Oh, he added that Ward had been promoted from the Championship twice previously and that was invaluable experience. He DID NOT say anything that would offend Ward, nor undermine him in anyway. |

I too listened to the show, he tried to answer every question fairly, said that he and Bojan had a good relationship and both decided at the end it would be best to move on, he obviously didn't get his first or maybe 2nd choice RB, so what else do you do, buy inferior or work to make better players fit that roll, he mentioned that they are trying as hard as possible not to make mistakes in the market and not just buy numbers, and anyone coming in now would have to be an improvement on what he has , which is the right way to go about things, really don't get all the negativity on here, when asked about the diamond he pointed out that a top premiership team reverted to a diamond because they were not getting much joy, it's a new season, get behind the manager and the team ffs. |

It also looked like he had a bit of ago at the presenter during one of the breaks. I definitely picked up that he was angry over something, but what makes you read arrogance into it? Just how he came accross really and how he answered some of the questions. It was like if he didn't like the question he,answered it with a question. |
