He's living rent free in all of our heads. He's essentially the biggest reason that we're living under this Tory government! What an utterly bizarre statement. I must have imagined a pretty poor opposition being swept aside by a Tory Party that wasn't exactly well liked, and traditional Labour voters deserting the party in droves. Yep, nothing to see here.

The scary thing is he might still have been elected, it was his response to the Salisbury poisionings that ultimately cost him, all those idiots who were going to give him a chance over stuff from yesrs ago looked again and decided maybe there was something in all the allegations after all.....

Hodge has always been a Blairite and always hated Corbyn. She's got a screw loose. I watched an interview on the TV with her and she said her father told her to always go to sleep with a packed suitcase by the door because 'They' will be coming for you. She says she still does.
Corbyn is not anti-Semitic. He's anti-Zionist. Unfortunately, most people don't know the difference, and Hodge, deliberately, continues to conflate Corbyn's stance on anti_Zionism with anti-Semitism for her own political ends, knowing she's addressing an audience that doesn't know the difference between the two. I have absolutely no problems with those who follow the Jewish Faith providing they respect the faith and rights of others, but I do have a problem with the State of Israel and the way it's treated Palestinians who they threw out of their lands in 1948 and are still continuing to do to this day. So, like Corbyn, I'm anti-Zionist but not anti-Semitic. And, perversely, a lot of those who follow the Jewish faith agree with both me and Corbyn.

I'm not going to comment on the bulk of what you've said OS but in respect of that first paragraph I do have some understanding through Jewish friends and particularly older ones. They understand their history and can trace their ancestry being kicked out of one country after another from the East in Russia eventually across to the UK. As anti Semitism is a thing and I've been shocked to see it in a local highly "educated" middle class village I fully understand the sensitivity that Jewish people have. Words like Pogrom and Holocaust are there for a reason.
