And 'me' is the most important part of your response here mate. I would also state that from my perspective I think he would have been (very marginally) a better choice that BJ especially taking into account the current climate/situation. But, where I probably differ slightly, is that I was also open and very much listening to the concerns of Jewish communities, people living in Warrington/Birmingham with long memories and also the concerns of how far left he represents. Not only did this lead to no gains last time out in marginal seats but also losing the home bankers. Labour will only win elections from the centre ground. Conservative's can win from centre and also a step to the right. That's fine, but it isn't what I believe in. Being left wing in this country is a minority, we're simply quite a right wing nation, and that's why I take issue with people pretending they'd have voted labour if it wasn't just for Corbyn. Broadly speaking centrist political parties will be successful in U.K. Elections be they a little left or right of centre, makes no difference. Socialist economic policy will drive people away in there millions . A moderate left of centre Labour Party will be formidable and credible at the next election

What a surprise. McNicol and Matthews were sitting on antisemitism complaints up to 2018 with a view to trying to undermine Corbyn. These were two of the so-called whistleblowers on the BBC’s crock of shit Panorama documentary. It’s almost as if Jews were used as a tool by Corbyn’s enemies within the party to get rid of him.....

What’s even worse is it appears that Corbyn’s enemies within the Labour Party have used antisemitism and Jews as a tool to undermine him which is shocking but not surprising. Starmer just needs to agree to release the thousands of email later and WhatsApp groups documented and the truth will out, simple as that.....

Look across Europe, it doesn’t reflect that at all..... Not talking about Europe though Prestwich we're talking about here. It's a romantic idea that a left wing socialist government could come into power here but it just isn't going to happen. Fight from the centre ground and Labour have a chance. However that means the more left sided wing of the party and it's members will need to get behind the new leader.

I’m sure many people on the left in the Labour Party will, it’s a shame the centrists in the PLP didn’t afford Corbyn the same courtesy. But apparently they should all remain “united” now? As I said time will tell where Starmer takes the party, my feeling is despite everyone getting excited it won’t get the traction people except. We’re talking about a leader and cabinet that we’re so tone deaf over Brexit and a 2nd referendum they essentially killed any small chance of a Labour victory....

How do you explain Miliband then? He had worse figures than Corbyn. I did say credible mate , milibland just wasn't , David would have fared better The Union pay masters forced dead Ed on the Party, David was the obvious choice but he would not willingly have danced to their Trotsky/Marxist tune, that was the start of the end of the Labour Party, as long as the unions/momentum continue to have influence they will never govern this country again and rightfully so, they are the masters of their own downfall yet they still continue the denial.

We’re talking about a leader and cabinet that we’re so tone deaf over Brexit and a 2nd referendum they essentially killed any small chance of a Labour victory.... It should always be a united front. The overwhelming majority of press in this country will always look to disrupt the Labour Party especially in the run up to an election. In anti-semitism. I'd have to disagree, when it becomes a race/religion issue I have no issue with breaking rank. I'd fully expect to see it in the Tory party aswell and any other. The Brexit issue is an interesting one. I will be in minority but I actually think he got that right. Here is what the deal is do you still want it? Made sense to me from a remain perspective. The good news for Starmer is in 5 years we are going to be further down the road so he will not be fighting on a 'Brexit' election which should give him a better footing in fighting a GE. My gut says he will do well. In all likelihood he won't win a majority but if he re-establishes the Red Wall and fights from a centre-centre left position in marginals then a hung parliament would be an incredible turnaround.

Yeah imagine not supporting the Assad regime, still its good to know that the Corbyn team spent the last days in their bunker (as someone called it on twitter) writing down their own stupidity and racism then had to pay authors to read 860 pages only to be told lads its not really a good idea to send a document to the EHRC that undermines the case and of course they have just provided more evidence for when the whistleblowers sue for libel......
