I wrote on the Keane thread last week that Forest are a nightmare of a club to work for. The owners are pulling in different directions & are clearly running it like a business. The whole place is in disarray.. I knew they were plotting to ditch Karanka well before they did.
Not the same as he's been sacked this time but remember MoN leaving Villa just before the season started and it took them ages to get over as all pre season plans get put into chaos. Hopefully the same happens here.
Wonder if Keane had seen what was coming!

I'm not saying he'll get no pitch time if he stays in the few games we potentially go non-diamond or if we switch it for the last 20-25 minutes - but where on earth is he going to feature, even semi-regularly, in a diamond? I don' think it's speculation to suggest we're going to play the diamond in 90%+ of games and I don't think it's speculation to suggest we'll have two other left-backs ahead of him in the pecking order? He may get the odd game if we change it up off the bench (but Verlinden and Ince will also be competing for those measly scraps). |

An appointment that's been weeks in the making I'd say too. Bet MoN knew this was coming last week when Keane left but hung around to get sacked and the inevitable pay off, can't say I blame him. Guessing they're players only reported back to the club this week sometime too so alots been happening behind the scenes. |
