Will there be any announcements in or out we have no idea about? I don’t believe so but it would be something eh?

Shit-eating, snivelling, incompetent weasel-featured quim. Hopefully one of the announcements is his immediate retirement. No chance of that his new pad in Marbella needs paying for

I think if you announce a player you instantly start paying their wages. No point announcing until a day or two before they arrive for the first day of training.

Is Tony Scholes the most obnoxious CEO of a football club? His contempt for the supporter base is on par with his predecessor who in my lifetime was and probably the most disliked club official on record The club could have made a public statement a couple of weeks ago wishing NJ all the best for his wedding whilst reassuring supporters that transfer business was ongoing, seeking patience until deals could be made public after finalising contractual issues etc. etc. The cherry on cake was this comment; “We’ve had two extremely disappointing years. Two poor years. Pick whatever word you want. “Ok, they are on the back of 10 or 11 very good years, so let’s keep it in some kind of context, but there’s no getting away from the fact we have significantly underperformed for two seasons. Being kind I would have said: 1 disappointing year, 1 disastrous year and 1 extremely disappointing year. I could vomit every every time I see this face

I think it’ll be the 5 in and a couple of shock outs personally.
I hope to fucking god it isn’t Etebo, but the amount and type of midfielders we are linked with raises suspicions.

Sheer embarrassment revealing a shed load of league 1 players Certainly holds more water than the July 1st explanation. "Early next week" will still be well before then anyway? Couldn't understand what Scholesy was going on about.... "respecting the rules of the game"? God only knows what he's referring to. It's not as it buying clubs won't be aware of our activity. They aren't based in some remote Himalayan villages with no internet, are they? They're fully in contact with the football grapevine and if we know, they know. Look at the dates on our previous Bosman announcements: Yeah, it's got absolutely nothing to do with waiting until July as previous out of contract signings have proved. They obviously think that the signings made won't be well received in general. Apart from Powell they are very underwhelming for a club who's been in the premier league for 10 years until 12 months ago.

Things needed to change

Couldn’t believe it until I reconciled it with our live game coverage.
It’s a one man in a chair interview and you shoot it with two cameras (twice what we get for game coverage) and chop back and forth for no reason, production value or sense.
The only slight consolation was the worthless, second camera low shot had Tones mouth next to someone’s wrinkled cock and balls.

Yeah, obviously waiting for Jones to return So they can firmly pin all the blame for signing these players on him and him alone, fucking useless weasels they have no intention of taking any responsibility for the car crash of a club we have become whilst they have been involved in our transfer dealings. The club is rotten from top to bottom !

I think if you announce a player you instantly start paying their wages. No point announcing until a day or two before they arrive for the first day of training. Spot on. It's exactly like when you say a player's name in the mirror three times then they automatically sign for you. This is how we we ended up with Brek Shea.

maybe it's all about the parent company and allowing them to take as much money on the championship promotion and relegation betting as possible before all the new signings are unveiled and the other firms catch up on how great/shit we are likely to be

The club is rotten from top to bottom ! Maybe, but with all the confusion about who is conducting transfer business can we blame them for at least pointing out the manager is making the decisions, at least in this window? They may be very good signings brought in to fit a system it remains to be seen. Sheff Utd were full of players from league 1, only a few had championship experience when they signed them

Well, well, well. Big To finally shows up. It’s obviously a way of announcing the new albeit less from impressive signings then deflecting by saying oh by the way players A/B/C have left. I can’t stand the weasel faced tool. Scholes our.

Little clip of Scholes on Radio Stoke this morning. Just basically repeating the 'expect something before pre-season training starts' line
-Tony Scholes has confirmed new signings will be announced imminently. The club are understood to have already signed Nick Powell, Adam Davies and Lee Gregory - but have yet to announce them.
-"No, we haven't announced anything yet. But we've been working on getting as much of it done before pre-season starts as we can. And, before next Wednesday, you'll be seeing a number of announcements"

Well done Tony, keep up the good work mucka 👍 Any news on Jedinak, General?... Here’s my theory for next week. The club starts with a low key announcement on Monday, possibly Gregory. They then build over Monday and Tuesday with Davies, Lindsay and then what supporters think is the money shot with Powell around 5pm on Tuesday. Just when we’re all wiping ourselves down, they then hit us around 8pm with a trifecta of Jedinak, Whelan and a complete curveball (I’m going Julian Joachim). You can feel the aftershock for days on this board as even the likes of Bayern and UKYesTony are praising Scholes et al for an excellent summer’s business. Scholes drops the mic and gives that cheeky smile we all love.

Something like Boris and Hunt come to blows on the Hustings or better still Iran attacks a US destroyer in the the Straits of Hormuz" And cut, we'll edit it later Tone.

I don't think there is any confusion, just made up theories from some with nothing to back it up. I've had my doubts myself tbh of a fair few recent transfers If someone is crap then they are a Tony Scholes signing in some opinions I remember a bloke on here talking about Lou Macari and trying to make out that he masterminded the Sheron purchase ( he had nothing to do with it) and didn't want Keith Scott originally which were both nonsense. Was literally someone fitting a signing into their agenda of a person. I get that players may have been already on the radar like Bauer but all this finger pointing has no substance at all.
