So... can this calm down the fannies panicking about lack of announcements on the free agents who aren’t actually out of contract until July - and therefore protecting and respecting everyone’s interests by not announcing anything until that point? No? Ah, fuck it then But it's totally standard practice to announce before, as and when they're sorted on a pre-contract, isn't it? We've never, ever waited for July 1st previously. There must be a reason - but the July 1st thing clearly isn't it? |
