Absolutely right! Being a Bojan supporter in no way stops me appreciating Waltersâ qualities. A great signing for Stoke who gave everything on the pitch and was great in the dressing room. He always worried and wound up defenders, and scored a lot of great goals including a âperfectâ hat trick against QPR. When McLean matches Walters contribution I will be impressed. Indeed. I stayed off this thread after yesterday when the following were just so absurd I just couldn't comment and wasted my day: 1. Berahino has contributed more to this football club than Bojan 2. A heat map of the Preston game could be used to show Bojan did nothing at No.10 (true but unfair considering he didn't play) 3. Sam Clucas is better footballer than Bojan We always needed a mix in my view of a bit of flair and bit of muscle (although in no way am I saying Walters was not talented). The Everybody Needs a Whelan song summed it up perfectly. My argument for Bojan on this has always been we're now completely bereft of any flair or even players who can accurately pass a ball forwards. Even the Berahino love in, although the comment I refer to above is mental, he has tried more this year and I do think he would benefit if Bojan was on the pitch as would all of our strikers. You've made up a load of crap there really because those last 2 points are relating to what I've said in this thread and aren't even what I explained. |

When it was pointed out that Bojan didnât play at Preston you claimed you just wanted to see a heat map of Preston to see âwhat the No.10 did in that systemâ...which was obviously bollocks. You said Bojan has had as many poor performances as Clucas. So the last point granted should say equally as bad rather than Clucas being better. But only arose because you were whinging he was âno more effective than any other Stoke playerâ. Which is enviously utter shit mate. The only person talking any crap on here is you. |

I must say I'd love to see him succeed for Stoke as I want any player at our club to do, but I as many of us really doubt him being up for it any longer, I don't care if I'm wrong, but I really don't have any belief in him any longer. For some of you that is so hard to accept, but to me he has really not showed anything for at least two years to warrant the belief some on this board have for him. He was tidy and spotted most openings for a forward pass yesterday. Hasnât played much at all this season so early to judge. I will say Tom Ince was less than useless in replacing him. Make of that what you will...... Early to judge ? I expect his lack of fitness and playing time was due to his performances on the training ground....the manager is clutching at straws !! When is anyone going to bring up the real issue...for the split in the fan base and dressing room...PC stopping you all is it ? |

I don't see how being interested in who is actually playing the #10 effectively is bollocks. It's actually very interesting. I said Clucas' performance against Hull was about as bad as at least half of Bojan's apps for us, which is true to me. No touch, crap passing, largely missing in games. He used to get berated week-in-week-out when he was playing regularly for being too ineffective in matches - to the point people have said we may as well had played with 10 men. You've mentioned that people are entitled to their opinions about Bojan a few posts back and yet you're saying I'm talking crap. I'm not for the record. |
