Did anyone listen in? Anything ground breaking or was it as beige as his football? Coldplay? Meh. He spoke well to be honest mate(as usual) about his life in football and his family.Seems like Ben Robinson is the man he looks up to.Also says Peter Coates rings him every Sunday to talk about the game and John Coates has a coffee with him on a Monday to talk about things.The reason he came was to do with the Coates family and the stability they’ve shown to managers and they remind him of Ben Robinson at Burton Nothing to do with the money then 😂😂😂 |

I have no issue with how he speaks, he speaks well to be fair & I find his post match assessments generally spot on. The bit I do have an issue with is that after half the season gone, we still look as if we have no game plan, movement or general consistency of play or selection. Big game for him today, if we don't win massive pressure for Tuesday.

Is it worse not knowing what's going wrong? or knowing, but seemingly having little idea on know how to put it right?! Because after games he comes out with the right things. So, either the players aren't listening or Rowett and his merry bunch of coaches aren't good at their jobs.

The arrogant one has gone too far. The swing from those on the fence in the Rowett in or Rowett out debate has clearly swung towards him deservedly being given the boot judging by the posts on here since yesterday. A sold out away end at Birmingham witnessed possibly the biggest pile of shite seen in many years when following OUR club, yes OUR club, not this fools club. He is but very temporary. It was so bad that I felt too numb to bother shouting shit at Rowett at the end of the game. This idiot needs to know very loudly what the supporters think of him and his shit, negative, and clueless football. I know that the saints on here will chip in with the give him a bit more time, and just get behind the team ramblings, but we are seriously going backwards with this bell end in charge. I will get behind the team as I tried to at Brum, but the fucking life is being sucked out of any optimism and enthusiasm that I have had since the morning of the debacle at Leeds. I will not get behind this odious twat. Rowett Out!! Maybe we get behind the team and the manager as im sure neither is deliberately doing a poor job just to spite? Get behind the team or stay away. No need for that pal seriously. People like me? You have no idea. I want the manager to succeed too. Success was going to be promotion this season though wasn't it? and he definitely isn't going to achieve that. We still have a chance if we can get a better manager in, that would be our only chance. Just my opinion. If you get angry about a fan not being happy with a manager, maybe try waking up to reality. When managers don't win games fans tend not to be happy with them You are right. That is indeed the way it is in 2018. But I have been around long enough to remember a time when fans were a bit more sensible and calling for the managers head was the preserve of clubs that really had hit on hard times, and quite often the manager actually deserved it. Seriously what are you (and your type) doing to help Stoke right now? Nothing is the answer. You are the enemy within; spineless in fact. The only defence you have is you are not alone. There are a whole bunch of cretins on your side. Thankfully still in a minority, but still significantly large enough in number to spoil it for everyone else and potentially damage the club you claim to support. That is totally hysterical and unreasonable, I don't have any other response to that. I love the club, I also think we are lucky to have our owners. I think we have a great support. My simple opinion is that the current manager is not doing a good job, so he should be replaced. That is not unreasonable in the circumstances. He is after all the manager with the biggest backing in the league, the best squad, and he isn't winning many matches. What I'll never understand is people like yourself and chesterfieldstokie who come on this board only to tell most other posters who express opinions about the manager how much you despise them. |
