Sat in a pub outside Wembley stadium having a pint after leaving the ACDC concert after just 45 mins.
Hands down the most dreadful sound I've ever heard at a concert in my entire life.
Just a complete wall of distortion, rendering it impossible to know just what song they were even playing at times.
Desperately dissapointed.

Sound was exemplary for my recent show there albeit a pop one . Figured their sound crew would have had it spot on as they've played there before a few times!

Old brown jug today.
Watched my mates band, the friendly campaign.
Year Zero were on too, and they are a great little band, who I've seen a few times.
Glass Ghosts were also pretty good to. Sounded a bit like echo and the bunny men, with a touch of early electronica.

I've never been to one.... Does that make me odd? No but interesting choice of username! 😆 I’ve been to a few just lately: Fabio and Grooverider, Orbital (obvs) and The Breeders all at Rock City and then a Kate Bush tribute at the Rescue Rooms who was great but disappointingly wasn’t called Fake Bush.

Moved all over the place trying to get a better sound but it was terrible everywhere. The best it actually sounded was on Wembley Way walking away with all the other disgruntled fans ...

She does have a tribute act called that, been going for a few years now.

Thats a real shitter, especially for the high ticket prices. Always wanted to tick them off my list but sounds like I've missed the boat, quality wise.

Tickets for Kasabian and The Streets at various stadium venues go on sale tomorrow starting at £48 each. Mrs likes Kasabian and I like The Streets so maybe we could do it on one ticket😉

I was meant to be going to Victoria Park on Saturday but something came up.

Next up for me are Dwarves up hanley in August. I'm tempted by that one. The bassist in my old band is a big fan, and I don't think he can wait. Nick Oliveri with them too. Dwarves seem such a cult legendary band, I'm surprised it hasn't sold out.

Out of interest was the Kate Bush tribute - Cloudbusting. Admittedly KB is almost impossible to re create musically and visually but I watched 'Cloudbusting' a few years ago it was very disappointing musically the musicians were off key and the lead singer tried her best mainly to act as in videos but the voice a million miles away. I remember it that well just to know to avoid if they are still touring, though i have not heard of another KB tribute act.

Yes it was and I don’t really recognise your description there although I’m not musical in the slightest. They were decent and the lead guitarist and ‘Kate’ did a great version of don’t give up. I’d be surprised if there hadn’t been some changes inbetween us both seeing them.

Glad you enjoyed them more than I but once seen is enough for me

After the disappointment of the last minute Pearl Jam cancellation at Spurs last week and the shocking sound at AC/DC, this show was absolutely superb, the sound, the venue, the band, all absolutely on point.
Thoroughly recommend trying to get to see them if you can.

We had really good time with friends. Could have done with the music going on longer if only in the dance tent.
