Thanks, already got that one covered. Also considering The Flower Pot in Derby on 1st February. Tickets £12. Always a great performance. Saw them twice in 2018 and have got the T shirt!! The Flower Pot has got to be one of the worst venues for gigs I’ve ever been to. Having said that, the after show drinks with ‘ Drunk in Public’ ( an acoustic Levellers ) we’re particularly good 👍

Think that's it for 2018. That includes 3 festivals worth of bands though so not all complete sets. The War on Drugs were the best gig out of the lot.
Now I know why I'm so skint! Only gig booked so far for 2019 is Idles in April. Will probably get tickets to The Chemical Brothers, Janelle Monae and maybe Suede.

Frankie Valli last week in Manc, does he count? When he walked on stage he looked like death warmed up, mind you he is 84! Terrific voice though still hitting those high notes. Excellent night.

I was there too. Last gig for me was Father John Misty a few weeks ago. Got The Delines in the New Year. It's funny you mention Janelle Monae as I had tickets to see her at The Roundhouse back in September and didn't make it in the end. Neither myself nor the Mrs could be bothered to drive from Somerset to London and back in one go! Sad but true. I also had to miss Buffalo Tom in London the other week but that was for a genuine, personal reason which I can't go into! Fair play to your three festivals mate.

It's on the same weekend as Green Man so share a lot of the same bands. Predicting maybe The National, Idles and someone like Father John Misty for Green Man next year.

Mmmm bit of a let down, re the location switch, and that.

Don't suppose they could justify two gigs in Stoke in quick succession. Who/what are DMAS? Seen them mentioned a couple of times.

Basically a mix of Oasis, Charlatans, Roses. Maybe nothing original but I think they stand alone in their own right. Just sold out a UK tour, the audience is rowdy and young, flares and ale throwing quite a regular occurrence. Do a few ballads as well as rocking tunes. Delete is worth checking out on YouTube, that is their anthemn. Basically a bunch of young Aussie chavs with attitude but at the Grand old age of 50 it still floats my boat

Only criticism and it's a petty one is it seemed miles to the bogs past the arches.
Think this year it's Kylie, Elbow and The Kooks.
Been see the sheds about 20 times and that was probably their finest hour
