Tuesday Evening Laundry Pass A neighbour had the laundry pass just before me today and showing me tremendous respect by cleaning everything in the laundry room thoroughly and had left in time. The things on the wash basin were placed in line, almost like an exhibition; The metal plug in the middle near the faucet, the dish brush in the middle close to the wall, the cloth hanging on the left side of the wash basin and next to it a new item, a white neat piece of a cotton sheet, folded exactly. He'd also open the window for me so the air was fresh inside. Both the washing powder compartments were open and clean. That person has serial killer written all over them.

Before i'm becoming unconscious and going to bed I remembered I had to tell you something, something new.
I found a plastic piece like a coin in the window niche in the laundry room. It hadn't been there before!
It was uneven and round (most coins are, but not all) and approximately with a width of 15 mm. One side was black and the other one white. I wondered what it was. If it did belong to a game or something?

Travel checkers (draughts)? Sounds like a classic case of a Reversi piece (or Othello if you don't speak PC) He did say uneven so I might go with a real old Oreo biscuit where the top part has been eaten exposing the white part. The most overrated biscuit in the world I might add. Going to have to start a thread on this……

Laundry Day Pass Wed 17th April 2024
Before the Jake and the Fatman episode at 5 p.m on TV I went down to collect my clothings inside the drying room at the laundry room. I didn't bring that much to the laundry room today, and my hopes the stuff would be dryer early were fulfilled. It's all here now and almost dry.
The (these days) four things on the wash basin were placed very nicely again. Apart from dust in the corners of the drying room everything looked fine, before, during and after my laundry pass. I removed the dust.
I didn't meet anyone when I went down to start the washing machines at 12 a.m and noone when I moved the things from the machines to the drying room at 1:30 p.m. However, after that I went to the library. Only the cutest librarian worked there today. I found out the book by Nessa Carey I re-ordered a few days ago about The Revolution of Epigenetics (recommended by civilestokie here) was placed in that reservation bookshelf. But I hadn't got any mail or something from them saying the book has arrived. She said she didn't know why, and for some reason I come to think of Geri Halliwell when she said it.
After I took the book with me I went to the grocery store (a chain here called Willys). A new girl had started to work there and she reminded me of stunning Klara Hammarström, a singer who has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest. I might have known her mother before they moved a long long time ago. (investigation continues).
But when I went back home with the noodles, chorizo chicken sausages, soft cheese and pasta made from brown rice and quinoa, there was this guy who stood leaning against the old big building I live in. He hade very dark sunglasses, a denim jacket and jeans, i guess black shoes. He turned his head around a bit and followed me with his sight I guess while I was passing. He looked 110% criminal. A bit like that "Italian" small guy I told you about not long ago. This young man had a similar appearance, but somewhat taller.
I also noticed during my daytime laundry pass that the landlord's housing service team had reinforced every door in the backyard! No wonder, there have been more strange persons around here lately.

I had a Laundry pass scheduled, not tomorrow but next Friday.
However, that will be canceled due to an emergency check on this building's ventilation. It was supposed to happen in 2026 but it's already in early May this year.
Pipes with air, pipes with electricity, pipes with water. I wish they could check them all simultaneously.
Let's see if the water pipe noise occur while they're here for the air check.
According to the letter they'll stay with me for 8 hours and a quarter.
