I think I've never done the laundry on a Saturday evening before.
Yesterday evening and this morning the pipes bothered me again. The property service must get here first thing Monday morning!
I just turned on the watertap here and nothing weird happened, but when my neighbour does I think my kitchen will fall apart. What could it be?
At 4 pm it's laundry time. When the game starts.

I've only just discovered this thread and read it from start to finish and missed listening to Tom Waites for a relaxing hour. I wish I hadn't because I now feel like an amoeba that's just crawled out of primeval sludge whilst reciting complex mathematical equations. I don't know what to say.
Waiting for RS coverage of Luton v Stoke.
Cup of tea and two ginger biscuits. Colt 45. Chamber empty except for one loaded with a dum-dum bullet. (If I was giving it to Bayern, the chanber would be full.) "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away," sayeth a manager named Jones.
I don't know why they call them a 'pair' of knickers either.
OS.

Back from the laundry room. Had a chat with a new girl for half an hour.
She had also heard the pipe sounds.

Yeah, we talked about other things as well.
It was perfectly clean when I returned.👌
Almost forgot: three things were actually placed there on the bench again, behind the washbasin and stuck up to the wall this time. No exciting stuff, a dish brush, the chain with the plug to the washbasin hole and a cloth. But still .... three objects. And up against the wall. Why, why, why, up against the wall in unnatural positions? Actually it's tricky to keep them standing against the wall. 🤓

The question “ who is the mysterious person…” is solved. It’s Tom Robinson.

At the laundry room within ten hours. I bet noone is there so early on a Saturday morning. Not there or even in the stairwell or in the backyard.
They have fixed the locks and handles now. That's good!

I'm always expecting this to turn out like the David Cronenberg movie Shivers and something to appear coming up Musik's plug hole.

Was down there an hour ago. The door to the laundry room was not locked.
But most surprising was the fact there were three items stuck against the wall today as well; a sponge, a dish brush, a plug to the washbasin. Side by side. Three.
Going down there soon again, to put the stuff into the drying room, which wasn't locked either.
Noone seems to be awake.

Not sure what happens to the hero though 😉

Was down there again to put the stuff in the drying room. Noone awake it seems. Noone in that stairwell or in my stairwell either.
Maybe everyone is afraid of the new Omicron mutation of Covid-19? A researcher said it has three heads. Three.

Could easily be made into a moody, black-and-white film, directed by Ingmar Bergman (if he wasn't brown bread) where nothing really happens for two hours and you come out of the cinema thinking wtf have I just watched...

Laundry pass today.
Three things again.
Three opened newspapers next to each other.
🤠
and the smell of perfume in the room

Took a closer look at the headline, the only visible headline in the three newspapers. It was the newspaper to the left.
"Together with C and L (the two Swedish Liberal political parties), we can increase the tax on petrol" (a statement from MP, the Swedish Green Party).
People had used the two garbage brushes when cleaning the laundry room before me, but they have forgotten to remove the dust from them.

I think musik might be a foreign agent, and he uses the Oatcake to contact his handlers with cryptic, highly coded pieces of information...

Brown bread? It’s rhyming slang ‘brown bread = dead’ A bit like ‘apples and pears = stairs’

Time again!
Went down there at 3 p.m (4 p.m here). The man on the 4th floor had the laundry pass before me, according to the board. He had put the key lock upside down for some reason and taken all the clothing away from the drying room as well. It was tidy.
This time the three things were placed in the window niche, side by side. * A bottle of fabric softener. * A white plastic bag. * A plastic-wrapped instruction sheet on how to care for the washing machine.
Always three. 🤔

I've not met a person in our stairwell for weeks now, so I wasn't surprised I didn't meet anyone in the laundry room either yesterday.
I moved the keylock to the 21st. Let's see then, but I expect to meet noone of interest until the spring, due to the Chinese invention.

21st? 😏 That's weird! Accoding to my calendar it's today, the 26th.
Going down there within an hour despite pain and some slight fever feeling again, to at least wash my sweaty sheets from last week.
Probably won't meet anyone.

It was today.
For the first time three things were placed in the laundry room at three very separated different locations simultaneously!
3 x 3
The Wash basin: a dish brush, a cloth, a plug to the wash basin
The Window niche: a washing machine instruction, another washing machine instruction, an empty bottle of fabric softeners
The Bench: a small plastic bag with some white powder, a small pile with something blue, a spot with a white liquid
Then I had a conversation with a neighbour about the noise from the pipes. He mentioned an old swedish crime movie he'd seen in the 1960ies where a detective searched for a pipe noise and found out some person had put paper inside a pipe.
Then I went down there again, to put all the clothing inside the drying room.
And then I met the same girl as last time.
Now I'm exhausted. Must be the side effects.
