I thought he was a really valuable player for most of his time here. But he did look physically shot last season. And at 33, hard to see him really getting that elite athleticism back, and without that, he hasn't got much in his locker. Whether if the concussion problems are behind him, he can be decent at this level, we'll find out. But I don't think he's much of a loss now, as good as he's been overall. Yep, agreed Grapey. Very valuable player and an important cog for a good few years. |

I liked him at his peak- strong, good in the tackle, fairly quick- but he looked bollocksed last season.
Another one who we handed a ridiculous contract extension (He's here until 2020 isn't he?). Hopefully QPR will agree to take that contract over because he's probably at about the level of a mid-table/bottom-half Championship player now.
Still, all the best Geoff- you've been a good servant to SCFC. Nice one.

Seems he was never in Rowett's plans so time to move on. Geoff's an intelligent and very professional sportsman who wasn't a waster and hasn't shown any disrespect in his time with us. It was time for him to go. Too unreliable and injury prone now. Been a great player for us over the years though. I'll miss those 'outside of the boot' crosses - just as our forwards always did.
Hope he does well for them.

Agree with people on here who have pointed out there are a lot of ungrateful fuckers !! I have seen some absolute shit play for Stoke down the years which would deserve the comments above. However Cameron is not one of them. All the best Geoff and thank you for your efforts for SCFC.

I suppose as we have ideas about bouncing back straight away, however fanciful they might seem at present, we've got to be looking at a better class of player in the first XI than old Geoffrey. I'd have been quite happy for him to provide cover for another 12 months, mind you- he's certainly more use than Fletcher or Fat Charles. |

THank you Geoff Cameron. Many days he was our best option at DM. He proved valuable being able to move around, and filled in well on the back line on the right and in the center during our best Premier League seasons.
I don't understand how people berate him when he played the majority of our matches during our most successful Premier League seasons to date.
Good luck at QPR, I'll remember your time here at Stoke fondly.
