Anybody who thinks Pulis would come back here as a stop gap appointment until the summer is more fucking brain dead than those that actually want him back.

I agree, and I don't think we have the type of players he could galvanise. I'm even starting to think it's beyond anyone. Hughes seems incapable of it, for sure. What a shambles.

That is the only fucker who will keep us up That's the type of Coates and Scholes thinking that's got us into this mess, broaden horizons and look foreign, it's not 1951 anymore

No thanks, The Pulis era has been and gone.
If Coates grows some balls, starts taking his sanity medicine and sacks Hughes then Pulls should be nowhere near on his replacement radar.
If he did re-appoint the capped one, then Coates has learnt nothing and will indeed be the biggest problem at the club.

The majority of Premiership managers are not former forwards. I did think / hope that Hughes would transfer his attacking knowledge and skills to provide more positive attacking football Sadly no Our defensive coaching is not working Ryan gets booked and gives away a penalty for “ holding in the box” Since then it’s been zonal marking and we are far too vulnerable We need to appoint some balance to the coaching squad as well as the team Pity we missed out on Stuart Pearce as an assistant

That would explain the Beattie incident then. He was merely trying to anoint and baptise him in the showers then 😬😇👼

The problem with him not wanting a Red Adair five month deal is that there isnt a single manager on the market at the moment that I'd want on anything more than a five month deal, so that we can get a proper manager in the summer.

Could you imagine the utter derision if anyone suggested any other manager who was sacked for a record of two wins from his final twenty-odd games or who had arrogantly walked out on another club and had been humiliated in a resultant court case.
Serious heads have gone here.

If Hughes goes we need someone that all the supporters will get behind, Coates should know how divisive Pulis is amongst the fans and should steer well clear.
