Apparently starmer might bring us back to "Square one" too π€£. Has to be the worst possible insult a PM could you use. "This guy will bring us back to square one where public services worked" lol. Shame Starmers a white wipe. Whatever happened to redwhiteblue btw, not seen him in time on here. If a Starmer government takes things back to square 1, in other words improves things back to what they were before the last 13 years of tory rule, Starmer will have been one of the great PMs. An impossible job to unwind all the damage the tories have done. That will take decades.

Of stead decide usually beforehand what they want to see they don't assess how children are learning long term just if a teacher is doing a paperwork task of teaching to criteria they have set it puts exceptional pressure on teachers Having got an exceptional grade in a failing school teaching outside theox and teaching the same lesson as adequate another school you have huge inconsistency People don't realise the pressure ad extra work teachers and pupils put yp with an inspection Including disruption of lessons and comments on teachers to get revenge on teachers that that have a cheak to ask them to do some work

Replacing government ministers with 18 year olds to learn on the job would be a massive improvement. The other professions require skills and knowledge that 18 year olds donβt really have.

How would you train on the job as a lawyer at 18? Donβt you kind of need to know the law first?

Suella Braverman is evidence of a lawyer that knows less about the law than the average 18 year old. My wife is a government lawyer. Colleagues of hers who have been there longer than she has have told her that when they were told by the barristers chambers that only Suella was available for a hearing, she was considered so useless that they wouldnβt instruct her and would conduct the advocacy for the hearing themselves. Anyone but Suella was the saying.

Not really sure how much lower and how much scummier this lot can actually go ... Yes-forget Gaza & Ukraine, forget cost of living crisis, the PM is now focussing his energies on winning a bet with Piers fucking Morgan . A PM of any decency would not get involved in this.

Not really sure how much lower and how much scummier this lot can actually go ... God almighty. Even with my well renowned lack of interest and knowledge in politics that is really gutter stuff. From our Prime Minister no less.. Nobody is turning this country around until a real right of centre politician of pride in the nation, honest, integrity and balls to say what he believes and stick to it type like Big Nige gets in and grabs it by the boot straps. We really are staring into the abyss as a nation. Absolutely shameful

And yet we're in a worse position than we've ever been π€ I don't think I'm actually going to criticise if Starmer and his cronies get in, I may just indulge in the same whataboutery you've made a name for yourself doing. At least I'll have something that's actually happened to 'whataboutery' about π

I would say the majority are, for sure, but I've met some through the Anyones Child organisation that do genuinely good work. There's levels of 'in it for themselves' and there's absolutely no doubt that this bunch have taken it to extremes not seen for a very long time, if ever. But some people can't or won't see it π€·
