About time we learn that the parties we are given to vote for by the ' Haves' are there for the sole purpose of dividing the 'Have Not's.'

Crazy that Israel is less corrupt than Portugal or Spain according to this. I don’t think Israel is corrupt. It is just run by monsters despite it having one of the most democratic voting systems.

He can’t afford a two thousand a month mortgage when earning over £100k a year? Perhaps he should be stepping down as science minister then.

I have to say with the mental health crisis going on in this country at the minute. This particular statement from Lee Anderson is incredibly insensitive and distasteful. All to try and score a few points too.

All to try and score a few points too. “The sooner the men in white coats come” is a crappy cliche and one that isn’t helpful to the conversation around mental health. The idea that people will simply grab you from your home and take you away stops people from talking about(and dealing with) mental health. …..not that the Tory party bother funding mental health adequately for people to come out and take someone away anyways.

All to try and score a few points too. Weaponising mental health is such a scummy thing to do. He really is an absolutely loathsome individual, as well as being so incredibly stupid, so incredibly stupid in fact, that he isn't even aware that he's incredibly stupid.

Looks like his private life to me Gawa, and not something anyone needs to know about. I’m sure that there are plenty of exes who have nothing but bad words to say about their spouses.
In my opinion, politician’s personal lives should be judged only if they break the law or are using their professional position to enhance their private interests.
What they do with their children is up to him, his wife and the courts.

These last few weeks she's posted a few times on twitter about him and his crimes which has resulted in her being blocked. I hope she comes out to spill the tea as I want to know the gossip here!

If his crimes have any substance, she’d have gone to the police and to reputable media outlets. If they don't, they’ll just end up on the back of People.

He did break the Law He brought a High Court case against his family business alleging he had been unfairly forced out of the business The High Court Judge accused him in Court of lying under oath when it was revealed he voluntarily resigned from the Company to reduce payment to his first wife in Divorce Settlement It was also proved in Court that he had contacted a Police Inspector and alleged that his Brother was involved in a million pound plus fraud. In Court he claimed he had no recollection and the Police Inspector produced evidence and it had wasted a year of Police Time Eventually he was expelled from the Conservative Party for this and other indiscretions His Constituents deserve to know his character in case he decides to run as an Independent Candidate at the next GE

Your original post said his personal life should only be explored if he had broken the Law I underlined your comment and replied to that aspect and described how he had broken the Law Maybe he should ask his current wife to refrain from Twittering about his past crimes and reintroducing them into the Public Arena

I have no issue with her bringing up what you mentioned, I.e., breaking the law. The rest of it is just a more public version of a drunken spat in a pub. The guy is a piece of crap but no one needs to know his family matters.

Yep Starmageddon and car crashes like Sturgeon are hardly better alternatives. The reality is, if you want real change you've got two parties to vote for this year. The authoritarian eco psychos in the Green Party or the practical, measured, economically sound, positive policies of Ricky Tice's Reform Party. Voting for this dire, frankly cringe worthy, Liberal globalist Tory party or for Starmageddon is going to end one way - More of the same.

Glancing through Reform manifesto it appears that there is quite a bit of plucking out of thin air policies. Zero tax rate for frontline health staff, 1 in 1 out immigration policy, tax threshold increased by 66% to £20k. I need to read it a bit closer to see how they intend funding these huge giveaways, not to mention how they intend dealing with NHS waiting lists with a voucher system to pay for private treatment if you wait more than 3 days to see a GP, 3 weeks to see a consultant and 9 weeks for surgery. Very commendable but how will this be funded? assets.nationbuilder.com/reformuk/pages/303/attachments/original/1696527070/Reform_is_Essential_-_5Oct23.pdf?1696527070

I think they’ve messed up all public services. Soon there won’t be any health or law in this country. The sad thing is I don’t see anything improving any time soon.

But at least people without medical degrees and zero ability to make a differential diagnosis can now provide you with prescriptions for ailments that you may not have 😂

Don’t suppose you have the figures for Scotland and wales do you Scotlands is the best in the UK I believe.I think NI is the worst in the uk. I don't have the stats though. All 4 have got worse since 2010. The common denominator is the party in Westminster who control the budgets for devolved regional governments. I don't buy the whole everything has got worse but the torys are only responsible for it getting worse in England and the problems of the other countries is down to devolved governments and the problems with councils is down to devolved councils. If SNP had complete control in Scotland they wouldn't be holding referendums or campaigning for independence.
