Everyone is entitled to their views and opinions whether we agree or not. There is a conversation to be had around covid and I don't agree with shutting it down as many people share similar views. I'm not a covid expert or someone who has went far down the rabbit hole with it but I'd rather allow people with concerns to speak up and be proven wrong (if they are) than to be silenced and unchallenged. The best way to debunk conspiracies isn't to silence them in my opinion. I'm not a covid denier and I got some vaccines. But that doesn't mean I think those who have went further down the rabbit hole don't deserve a voice whether we agree with it or not. But I do think it's better suited to the covid thread Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion (I never said otherwise) and I am entitled to pick holes in those opinions. I have never shut Satoshi down (Satoshi has tried of me by name calling), I have instead challenged his/her opinion. In doing so, it is safe to conclude that the opinions of satoshi about covid are deeply flawed and illogical and are not based on anything other than conspiracy. When these opinions were challenged, the response was to call me a vagina. Need I say more? I haven't said you're not entitled to

Because you said “ There is a conversation to be had around covid and I don't agree with shutting it down as many people share similar views” when I have not shut anyone down, I have just shown their opinion to be delusional by picking it apart.

Because you said “ There is a conversation to be had around covid and I don't agree with shutting it down as many people share similar views” when I have not shut anyone down, I have just shown their opinion to be delusional by picking it apart. I'm making that comment in general. Andrew Bridgend was kicked out of the Tory party for expressing concerns over covid. When he spoke on behalf of people with concerns in Westminster he was laughed at and sneered. If people have concerns then I think their views should be debated respectfully, not laughed at. There are people out there that have had long term health affects from taking vaccines. There are people who probably didn't need vaccines but were pressured into it. There are countries which had lower vaccine rates and lockdown restrictions with negible differences in deaths. There were alot of third parties which made alot of money off the back of it as we've learned from our own government. But can we please discuss it in the covid thread if people wish to.

Shame on you Don't bring the Isreal conflict into it, I just like builders tea, roughly one every 30 mins. They only ever serve me that stuff up at the big house.

Yes Minister is often quoted but never so apt than here It shows the brilliance of its writers Anthony Jay and Johnathan Lynn to draw back the veil and present it on our TV screens 40+ years on nothing has changed. The Civil Service structure to supposedly be politically neutral and merely carry out the wishes of the Government in power does an I'll service to those that pay their wages. I'm no fan of Dominic Cummings but his views on the Civil Service can't be dismissed At its upper escholons provided you have gone to the right school, join the right clubs, don't embarrass your Minister you will inextricably climb the greasy pole and may even pick up a Gong of even a K for your "service" #draintheswamp
