How on earth can she sack him and remain in office?! 'All' that he has done is deliver on her own dipshitted, dimwitted, illiterate, hard right wing economic programme. She will surely be gone in a matter of days. Can't see her making to Halloween. The momentum is all going one way. Will she make it to Monday? Andrew Marr has just said on LBC she should go with semblance of dignity today or be 'ripped out' by the party next week. |

Just gets better doesn't? So we've probably got another ponderous leadership contest, whereby we'll probably get Sunak or Mordant. In the meantime we'll have the same hiatus period where nobody seems to be running the country.
I've not voted for any of this shambles? Has anyone?

How deluded were those Tory members who voted for her? Even out and out socialists knew the Sunak ticket made sense. Although I expect there was a smidgen of the Maggie Blackmoor's when the rinsers came to voting for Sunak. |

Kwarteng must be personally finished as a front line minister in future after this. It’s just bewildering that a government can’t get basic stuff or properly think out a strategic vision.. I agree on this. I think Kwarteng will just ride his time out as a MP now until the next election and probably make a decision to leave politics before sauntering into a nice job with a financial institution of some sort. |
