I always thought there was something else at play too in the UK with a drive to force us all to get the not so smart meters installed struggling at 50 % In my opinion these meters dont do anything like what they claim and are a spy fool but that's the conspiracy theorist in me lol You could always try reading the article referenced rather than take someone’s prejudiced and incorrect (and pea brained) reading of it. Here it is… The surreal, but also real, problem of Britain's gas glut. It’s a fascinating topic. But nothing to do with how Richard Murphy sees it.

I’m with you on this. If this guy was doing his own job properly he’d have done stuff, like raising interest rates, last summer. Instead he’s just yet another over paid bumbler who will be sitting comfortably no matter what happens.

That's an interesting observation and I realise you claim to be apolitical So in your view a Tory MP who was ambushed not by a cake, but apparently by a Journalist actually said something which was both offensive and condescending, but in your view, she should really have said something entirely different to what she actually did say, OK I get you. While on the other hand you consider her fellow Tory MP, who called out her comments to be offensive and inappropriate, to be a Worm. I belive the General Term for such thinking is best described in the Acronym DARVO (Deny, Attack and Reverse Victim and Offender) You’ve completely misunderstood what happened. I believe the general term for such thinking is stupidity. Not sure you should be bringing up stupidity with your wordle results mate.

Yes, but it makes for a good meme for people that are too lazy to attempt to understand the problem. my point still stands on meters but as i said its my opinion I would agree with you to a certain extent. Your conspiracy theory aside the only advantage of smart meters is the remote reading of my meters. I have an older meter with an indoors receiver that blinks green, amber and red. When we are using high levels of energy it glows red…..no shit Sherlock I’ve got the kettle on, the Mrs is has washing machine running and the oven is cooking the Sunday roast. I don’t need a red light to remind me the meter is running high. In addition to have this light thingymajig it needs plugging in and uses power, not much I admit, to run and tell me the bleedin' obvious. To be honest I used the smart meter receiver for about 24 hours, it’s been in the loft gathering dust for the last 9 years.

Another day, another disaster. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Out of interest do you agree with the proposal that to reduce flight related CO2 we should reduce the number of flights and stop airport expansion?

The thing is, that approach means only the rich will be able to fly. I’m surprised you’re in favour of something that favours the privileged in society. That said, the left seem to hate the working class these days so I guess that does make sense.

They just can't stop lying can they? Careful now you'll have Mr Coke coming along shortly to tell you this is a Brexit Benefit and he refuses to acknowledge the lie I have pointed out to him on several occasions fullfact.org/economy/january-2022-boris-johnson-employment/The consequences of low unemployment which is being driven by a lower employment pool of workers leads to a) higher wages (not in itself a bad thing) b) lower productivity c) higher prices and inflation and d) limiting opportunities for Companies expansion

Another by-election because of all these sex offender tories. You can understand why they binned the Employment Bill which was planned to better protect women from sexual harassment in the workplace.

I thought this was the same guy who was found guilty in Wakefield. Is it someone else?

This is presumably a separate issue to a certain "French" sounding Tory MP who was allegedly investigated over rape allegations and whose accuser is still pursuing him through the police.

It could well be "Little Napoleon " he fits the profile. An ex Minister, offences committed between 2002÷2009 and in his fifties

An ex Minister, offences committed between 2002÷2009 and in his fifties My initial thought was that the offences sounded too long ago to be "Frenchy", but you may be right. If he has got previous, who knows how many times he might have done it? 12 consecutive days of Daily Mail front page headlines no doubt coming about this as it's investigated....

An ex Minister, offences committed between 2002÷2009 and in his fifties The word 'another' included in Nazir Afzal's tweet makes me think it isn't the French sounding MP, but a fresh new subject. I had wondered only the other day what had happened regarding that outcome.
