People are too fuckin bone idle and cant be bothered to learn to cook...... People these days...their first reaction is to whinge and play the blame card, instead of looking in the mirror and fuckin doing something about it. You cut your cloth accordingly. We have all done it at some point in our lives. Go back a few generations to when your parents would knock up some meals. Mine would give me bread and butter pudding with raisins and cream off the milk for example. Utilise what they had in the larder, not fuck off down the kebab house or order a pizza. Theres some proper fuckin mard arses on this thread.... Raisins you flash bastard We only had dried grapes.

Government refuses to release Lebedev peerage details despite MPs’ instruction linkWOW, thank you Essex for bringing this to the attention of the MB I fear the seriousness of what has occurred may become lost Iin the general Bullshit being conducted by this Government Michael Ellis, Paymaster who is often wheeled out personally by Boris Johnson either in the Commons or in conducting interviews with the Press to comment on issues Boris dare not speak as they would go on the record Plausable deniability In his explanation of why the documents surrounding the Security Services concerns about the appointment of Alexander Lebbedev (Enobled at Boris Johnsons behest) should not be released he stated that "The Request " was being denied for "Security Reasons" This was NOT a request, it was at the INSTRUCTION as a result of a vote in Parliament The implications of this are MIND BLOWING Government is putting itself above Parliament (The People) These are the actions of a Rouge Government far beyond being ambushed by a cake It has not immediately gone beyond the attention of many International Newspapers, I'll link just one the Internationally respected Washington Post www.washingtonpost.com/politics/uk-withholds-security-advice-over-peerage-for-oligarchs-son/2022/05/12/0297c530-d20f-11ec-886b-df76183d233f_story.htmlThere has been very limited coverage in UK Press , so far. My suspicion is that Editors may have been leaned on not to report extensively or indeed may have been issued with a D Notice

Blah, blah, blah, blah. His simplistic philosophies…least said, soonest mended, ploughing on regardless and, famously, having your cake and eating it, work pretty well on a sunny day with a fair wind. But those days are not that common in this country and even less so for the person living at #10. He’s not as hopeless at Theresa May, but in his own sweet way, he’s not far off that low mark.

I agree, Theresa May was totally hopeless, under her we had probably the only time any government anywhere in the world had a drugs minister who had to recuse themselves from discussing the world's most commonly used illegal drug! Just unbelievable.

I like how the potential reduction of 91,000 civil servants is being portrayed as "a saving" of £3.5bn. If it goes ahead (and let's be honest, how many times now has this government made headline grabbing announcements to appease the easily led, then done nothing) it's a return to pre 2016 levels. What happened again in 2016 that required all these additional civil servants? I particularly enjoy the way they make it look like it was nothing to do with them in the first place. Some random event they had no control over took place and now they're jolly well putting things right! Exactly the same with the NI protocol. Which they said was a fantastic deal for Britain, which doesn't work...

Dowden a career politician that's achieved nothing before or during is tenure in the House of Commons apart from attending Cambridge. Losing your job to Nadine Dorries has to scar your soul.

Johnson used to shout 'jobs, jobs, jobs' which is ok if unemployment decreases but you'd be a bold individual to bet that it won't go the other way in the current economic climate.

Dried grapes. Luxury. We had gravel from the side of the road. If we were lucky. You were lucky to have gravel on the road, we just had dirt track. Well, when I say road, I mean it were a road to us. The reality is it weren't event a dirt track. We used to dream of having a dirt track. As to gravel. Well. We we should be so lucky. We had to pretend we had gravel. and be happy with that. Which we were. Happy as pigs in shit. Whatever pigs were.

The same point could stand for most of the other 649 mps except some went to oxford and therein lies the biggest problem the only thing most of them stand for is re-election.

Not many have been sacked and then replaced by Nadine Dorries though. Imagine having to tell your partner that you've been sacked and replaced by Nadine Downstream Dorries, I honestly don't know how you'd get over that.

Let's be honest, it's a lot less desperate than shamelessly trying to make out Kier Starmer was boozing and partying for one night in Durham and that this is somehow the equivalent of a dozen or so piss-ups in Downing St over the course of a year or so! And that had the entire attention of the Daily Mail for a fortnight!

I don’t get the resistance from people about returning to the office - It brings back some reality after covid and lockdown. - good for mental health to be meeting people in person again. - despite what people say it’s a better working environment and encourages teamwork / unity. 2 quotes one from someone in the adjoining office and one from a mate “Working from home gave me the opportunity to do my washing and get my chores done” and “first time i’ve met someone outside the school run in 2 years” Additionaly what do the chief executives do when they realise they can pay someone in Mumbai to do the same job for half the money from there home. Also should they still be paying travel allowance when there’s no travelling being done?

Quite amusing reading Bozo's description of working from home, where he explains that it didn't work for him. Which rather undermines his "I was always working" defence for all these parties he was at!
